I'll take a 5.42 today. When one article said they were handing the to Shields I thought he was reassigned as the janitor. Boston's best starter against the current edition of Shields. Too bad teams can't just agree to a result. "Hey, we're going to catch and early flight y'all mind if we miss the game tonight?"

I read this while drinking coffee. I'm going to come back later after a few drinks and see if it makes more sense.

I know that pretty much the entire organization should be fired but I was looking at the beginning of the game and whoever is responsible for cleaning the uniforms should keep his job.

Questioning everything is healthy in any organization. What this may highlight the most is how razor sharp the differences are between teams and how well teams in general are at running their businesses. I remember a sales lesson long ago and far away when the guy I was working with explained how you don't have to be twice as good as the next person, just a little bit better.

I prefer AJ but that is more a 55% 65% choice not an overwhelming mistake. 3. Good move that worked out bad. It looked good at the time. 5. Who didn't want Rios gone? Hell the #1 complaint was he took too long to move him. 7. Probably not his call. Loyalty was repaid. 11. Looked like a win at the time. Everyone was surprised. You make a deal. Usually if the guy performs as expected it's an ok deal. The player performs better than expected the player lost the negotiations and the team won. The player performs worst than expected and the player won the negotiations and the team lost. But I keep coming back to if the guy keeps running into bad luck with these moves, than maybe we need a different guy. William S. Burroughs once said when you hire a lawyer all you buy is his luck. Maybe that's why we hire GMs (Or fire).
