5 months before the election and I am already tired of the whole thing. Can I just vote now and get it over?

When gas was $2.00 per gallon a 2% increase would be .04, that same percentage is now .08 and much more noticeable. But generally speaking, companies have a better opportunity to gouge when prices are falling and they can keep some of the falling price for themselves. When prices are rising, people gauge prices much more carefully and there is more pressure on the retailers to keep the increase as small as possible. Also the taxes that are percentage based increase with the wholesale price, adding to the increase.

I went with :30 sitcoms and keeping it to 20 was tough. Shows like Simpsons, Happy Days, Coach, WKRP, Jeffersons, Dick Van Dyke, Soap, did not make my Top 20.

Sight unseen, Team A offers a player of great talent, but with a history of imjuries, for one of your players, and then you have the second overall pick in the draft. I'd take it before I knew the player's involved. As long as you were getting the edge in the player trade. Drafting is an art, not a science. Going into the lottery, everyone in the Bulls world would have loved the #2 pick. And if Wade is injured, the loss is more the player traded, not as much the draft pick swap.

I don't think we disagree that much, it really is the matter of degrees and without being able to go back and listen to 20 years of sermons we don't know if this was the frog in warm water situation. We also do not know how often he really attended. We don't know if the pastor decided to use his new found celebrity to advance his more outrageous views, something he possibly hadn't done before. I've just sat through too many sermons I did not agree with because I enjoyed the Church for a lot of other reasons. I know I can listen to contrary views. No matter what he did here his detractors were going to use it against him.

This is sad, but I thought he was already dead. RIP. Heaven's band just got better.

Someone please try and build a case why Walker is still the hitting coach? We've read forever that he's supported 100% inside the organization and the players seem to like him. What are they seeing that no one else outside the organization seems to see?

Walker, like Pulford and Momma Sutter's boys in the Hawks organization, will never leave. It's a mystery, a freak of nature, some weird fold in the cosmos that causes these things to happen. Much like a butterfly fluttering his wings starts a tsunami. Except this is less like a tsunami and more like a sleeping disorder. It's perhaps the curse we carry as Sox fans. I think if Walker spit on Konerko's thumb it would spontaneously heal. There has been a mistake. For years with think all the legends are about Chuck Norris, but it's really about Walker, as in Walker, Texas Ranger. Hence the confusion. Seriously, I am beyond worrying or wondering about how or why he is still our lack of hitting coach. There is no logical explanation. There is no track record that defends his continued employment. It must be black magic.

McCain is certainly old enough to remember No n***** and Whites Only signs. He probably swam in a segregated pool. There were segregated schools as he grew up. I also don't quite understand the point of view that if he stayed and listen, he must agree. When I had a position that involved a lot of windshield time, I listened to Rush regularly. Does that mean I must agree with him? I have always felt you can learn something by carefully listening to contrary views. Much more than listening to people who just parrot your own thoughts.

Then in the last year he posted a couple times a month. When do you have to leave before you are a hypocrite, but still show loyalty? And not certain why you picked 40, McCain, when elected, will be the oldest President.

Ensberg drops off at 32 and it could be PEDs. Another guy goes from a non starter to leading the league in HRs, and that specualtion is wrong.
