Sometimes you can make up four games in four days, as we did a couple weeks ago. Sometimes your competitor wins 6 in a row and you can't do anything but lose ground, like this week. I think a few of you are unfamiliar with the customs of a “winner thread.” Go whine in the game thread (and then use the same thread to explain why even though you were wrong you were really right, when you think about it)

We just need to keep winning to maximize the pressure to “not mess with a good thing.” I hope the FO understands the kind of fan revolt they’d be dealing with if Tony came back and the team went south. *Even if they don’t believe a slide could possibly be linked to Tony’s managing* they have to be sensitive to the optics there. It would just be so risky for them from a PR perspective.

I dunno. I’m a baseball purist so I just silk-screen my own Dodgers World Champion t-shirts every October 1 or so and turn off the TV for a few months.
