There's still nothing stopping KW from trading 2 starters too, though that leaves the Sox a minor hole in the back of the rotation that could be fixed by Phillips, Haeger, a prospect returned in a deal, or perhaps a journeyman SP. The #5 guy really just needs to eat 150 innings and provide an ERA around 5.00.

The hell what I was thinking? Ya, Anderson was horrible with the bat, but he has 20+ homer potential along with the ability to hit .275. Basically, Torii Hunter. If Borchard becomes Russell Branyan, I'm sure someone will be absolutely delighted.

Getting more value out of LF isn't as outrageous as acquiring Carl Crawford. Simply getting a slight upgrade in OBP(anywhere from .340-.360), improved defense, and fewer outs on the basepaths would do wonders. Better consistency would be nice too.
