  1. Hey I think you are supposed to start a thread about something like that now, this isn't no catch all!
  2. GrindErstad for Erstad obviously. The Swagger and Passion, Nick Swisher. Cubs fan: What's Swish batting? My answer: Swagger and Passion, baby
  3. We love you Quentin Oh, yes we do We love you Quentin And we'll be true. If you're not with us We're through. Oh, Quentin, we love you!
  4. F Dice-K, never been impressed.
  5. I've gotten used to calling Uribe Snacks & Cakes, pretty sure I got that from someone on here.
  6. A win would really be nice today. Let's beat the Rays!
  7. Wow thanks for all the info and links on the innings pitched debate.
  8. QUOTE (whitesoxfan101 @ Aug 21, 2008 -> 08:42 PM) Including today, we have each of the next three Thursday's off. I'd consider skipping the 5th slot completely for a while. How come no one has been talking about Danks IP anymore? I know we haven't seen his performance struggle at all, but at least a month ago half of this board was worried about what to do with Danks to not wear him out or kill his arm. Contreras went down and it seems like we just aren't talking about it because we don't want to talk about it anymore.
  9. I forgot to start texting for the score even though on my lunch break I told myself when to start to and by the time I got home it was over. (waz OVAH!). Guess work went faster than usual today, which is awesome, but a Sweep and 5 W streak is even better (BETTAH!).
  10. Pile it on the reasons to hate the Bucs and by association Tampa...
  11. Joe Who? I'm over Crede, even if Fields can't man up when we aren't battling for last instead of first. Uribe and his blond goatee hold all the answers at 3rd as far as I'm concerned. Mr. Snacks and Cakes, that's my DUDE!
  12. Can't say I got to watch much of Bo in a White Sox uniform, but he was one of my favorite athletes as a young kid. How couldn't he be, he had his own freakin' cartoon show with Jordan and Gretzky!
  13. You stole my thread. MLB.TV delay damn it! Anyway... Richard for the surprising performance Offense for the runs Bullpen the for back up WHITE SOX for the WIN! Win the games you are supposed to win and steal the ones you "aren't supposed"! let;s tomorrow!
  14. Remember the spots have come against two of the worst AL teams, I'm not saying, I'm just saying. I thought Richard would man up and I'm glad to see he did. Someone said we won't need a 5th starter the next few times around the roto so if that's true than Broadway and Richard could both be on the September roster to make starts based on match up.
  15. Yea someone earlier in the year had a quote about Toby Hall being the guy who thought he was hilarious and everyone just tolerated but couldn't really stand when he over did it, he drives me crazy; but he bats ok when in the lineup... but the pies have got to stop.every.single.game. Save it for the big ones if you want to be cute and clever, Tobes.
  16. I know it's old news now, but I was so happy when my Dad came back from a Twins minor league game in Rochester to report that Cuddyer left the game (as we all know now with the broken foot). He grew up in Iowa as a Twins fan while my Mom's side of the family is all Cubs fans. Luckily Frank Thomas showed me the light at a young age and I got on board.
  17. For every morsel of love I gain for TCQ a day, Alexei is just as sexy. I LOVE THIS TEAM!!!!!!!!!! PLUS A TWINS LOSS, YESSSSSSSSSSSS!
  18. A Twins/Cubs World Series would make me sick. I'd like Rays/Brewers after White Sox Vs. Anyone.
  19. I wish we swept, but I'll take 2 out of 3 in Oakland any day!
  20. Funny I saw a Liriano Vs. Broadway game at AAA in May, neither were good. Difference is one was a dominating pitcher who hadn't yet been switched back to his mechanics that make him good (but risk injury) (Liriano) and the other was supposed to be one of our top pitching prospects. Broadway didn't impress me at ALL that fateful day a few months ago... and Egbert got equally shelled the night after. Noteworthy in the fact that these starts came against the Twins' AAA club my hometown Rochester Red Wings. At least Cuddyer suffered a broken foot last night in a freak play running from 1st to 2nd. Got popped pretty good on a grounder as he was running.
  21. Uribe is my man crush right now, so I'm in no rush for Crede or even Fields.
  22. The annoying Red Sox Nation fans will be in attendance. Anyone attending these games has a duty to out cheer and out class them!
  23. No surprise. If the Red Sox aren't on Sunday Night Baseball, chances are you find them on TBS. At least it seems like every time I've flipped past the games on Sundays that's who it is.
