Kurtz was as can't miss as you get and he's still taking time to settle in. Torkelson another example. Maybe Pete Alonso as a rookie. 98% chance we don't even remember Elko's name three years from now, but it's the backup QB syndrome. Until he actually gets exposed at the big league level.

Quero is actually the most hopeful addition. How's that for negativity? Vargas has played much better defense than expected and the offense is starting to slowly emerge. Meidroth was fun for awhile but is a 2B. Baldwin will be fine as a super utility guy but needs to learn a lot more at the big league level to be a net positive. Sosa's really the wild card right now where it's easy to go back and forth on his pluses and minuses...still no closer to reaching a conclusion, but, once again....his defensive issues and IQ/instincts force him to be a 700-725 ops guy and not in the 600's.
