  1. Morales vs. Shuck....Bonifacio....or Soto? Please no DP ball.
  2. QUOTE (raBBit @ Apr 24, 2015 -> 07:44 PM) Avi has the makeup and body but his swing and approach need to be scrapped and start over. And thats nearly impossible to do in-season at the major league level.
  3. Guess it could have been a lot worse if Perez doesnt make a baserunning blunder there... Still, bullpen battle isnt one we are set up to win.
  4. QUOTE (BigHurt3515 @ Apr 24, 2015 -> 07:39 PM) That didn't take long Can never build off any positive momentum...seem to give it right back more often than not. Well, the Royals lead the league in obp while only being 11th in (AL) walks...under control contact instead of the Avi/Viciedo show. Highest BA by 15 points.
  5. QUOTE (Mike F. @ Apr 24, 2015 -> 07:35 PM) Hawk's radar does not look good, I repeat, Hawk's radar does not look good. What about Roger Bossard or Tom Skilling's version?
  6. Not good. Quintana just cant seem to put away hitters at 3-2 this season..still down a notch or two velocity-wise. But still much more confident than his recent efforts.
  7. QUOTE (RockRaines @ Apr 24, 2015 -> 07:29 PM) I'd like to move Melky down as well. Except hes not walking much and very limited power so far...guess you have to believe the power game will come around eventually. They have to try something....which is Alexei or Micah hitting second and Cabrera fifth...push down Avi to the bottom third.
  8. QUOTE (Dick Allen @ Apr 24, 2015 -> 07:29 PM) So the pitch him carefully doesn't work out, just like I wrote. Still its a much different feel for a pitcher knowing you can walk Abreu if you get behind in the count...and a struggling hitter behind him.
  9. Wow, Flowers actually hit the ball to the right side. Fundamentals do exist.
  10. Pitching around Gordon Beckham? 3-0 greenlight? Guess Duffy was just missing the zone and frustrated. Of course he misses out on the high fastball.
  11. Real entertainment is Rongey doing the game with DJ for some reason.
  12. QUOTE (Dick Allen @ Apr 24, 2015 -> 07:18 PM) 2nd and 3rd one out 3,4,5 hitters up usually means runs. Unfortunately Abreu hit it to the only place the run doesn't score on the ground. Because they could pitch him carefully with 1b open and induce him to do exactly that....its called strategy. He doesnt swing, they simply walk him and Avi manages to mess things up again.
  13. Good chance tmrw's game is in jeopardy...if Alexei's ball wouldnt have been knocked down by the wind this would be a 5-1 or 6-1 Sox lead since no way Ventura would be bunting there with a 3-1 lead. Well, at least one would hope not. Fathom will be turning over in angst when he sees what happened that half inning.
  14. QUOTE (Heads22 @ Apr 24, 2015 -> 07:11 PM) Well, there's always the Bruce Jenner documentary Prefer the current Kurt Cobain one or the Dave Grohl doc (about recording albums in that famous studio).
  15. QUOTE (TitoMB @ Apr 24, 2015 -> 07:12 PM) http://puigdestroyer.bandcamp.com/track/stop-f***ing-bunting WARNING: loud music Methodic Doubt from the Banshee soundtrack would also be appropriate.
  16. Bunting so early in the game with your hottest hitter so they can either walk or pitch Abreu very carefully? Weird. Not the way The White Sox play baseball.
  17. Cabrera was 12/26 coming into that and we bunt him? Then they can be very careful with Abreu....might have been a double play. Sigh. This just sucks. Where's Dick Allen to keep saying how terrible Duffy is right now? Maybe that would help, lol.
  18. Giving KC a liitle bit of their own medicine back. Now lets score him, please. Try not to mess up some fundamental issue of moving him over to third with less than two outs.
  19. Indians destroying Greene at Comerica, 9-1.
  20. Right ribcage/oblique issue or the knee. Get LaRoche in there....we simply cannot afford to give runs away. Two plays already this inning that should have been made. Smelling salts?
  21. Royals 16-3 at USCF since April, 2013. Three runs surrendered by the bullpen in 59ip the best start by any MLB pen since 1969.
  22. Rios and Bonifacio at least cooled things down...there's that from Emilio as a contribution.
