White Sox vs. Orioles 8/23 6:05 CDT (Cease vs. Voth)
no more of an embarrassment than the people here who died on the "no! Moncada is great" hill the last 3 years

White Sox vs. Orioles 8/23 6:05 CDT (Cease vs. Voth)
same shit as when Rongey was doing Sox post game, poor coaching, lack of preparation, and just overall discipline. need a total house cleaning, it's so obvious

lmfao at this garbage, how does Memerchino still have a job past Single A

Unprecedented inaction?
trading away what's left of our farm system to attempt to resuscitate this dead season would've been foolish. when are people going to realize adding more talent isn't going to fix the bigger issue it's a coaching/preparation/leadership problem. replace these people with competent coaches, people who are serious and you'll realize you don't need to mirror the 1990s Yankees to have success, instead try emulating the Rays

Eloy is dead. Again.
he's a falling star

Multiple Championships
this is why I laugh when people talk about possible trade acquisitions that the Sox could make to get the team over the hump, no trades will do that barring the A+ tier class guys who are good because they have innate talent how many players (specifically position players) have to come here and then have career low performances before people start to realize that it's the way the Sox do things (prep, research/tech, scouting reports, training, etc) that causes guys to just fall flat on their face some guys are gonna be good regardless like Abreu and NewTimmy but you also have to get the most out of your 750ish OPS guys and this team clearly doesn't know wtf they're doing with the B tier/2nd Class players

Great game
? They're all cheating again. Not with spider tack but they're all using traditional sticky substances again, the league is quietly allowing it
-
What the hell is wrong with Giolito?
just makes it cheaper for the Sox to lock him up, no way is he this bad going forward . damn near half the starters suck this year anyways, try again next year with a clean slate and hopefully new fucking coaches

08/17: Astros at Sox. 7:10, NBCSN
one of the 5 dumbest teams in baseball without a doubt, top to bottom just full of dullards playing 1990s era baseball in a league of teams using AI algorithms and advanced statistics

Fernando Tatis suspended 80 Games for PEDs
this was the first thing that came to mind, recover from his injury faster similar to Andy Petitte
-
Momentum or Big Tease?
Astros reality check coming in fast
-
Luis Robert hurt. Again.
sliding head first is slower as you're leaving your feet for the dive into the base. running keeps sprint speed the entire duration of the play. the point about tag avoidance is nullified because you're slower which gives the opponent more time to apply a tag edit: wait are we talking about sliding into 1B? lol my point applies to 1B, not the other bases

8/12 Gamethread: Tigers @ Sox, Norris v. Kopech

I feel sorry for those of you who actually invested into these losers this year, sincerely. should've tapped out two months ago

lmfao trade him immediately

Diagnosing the heart of the problem
there's only one thing that would bring us a total regime change (which is what needs to happen before this team ever becomes a perennial contender) but ppl don't wanna have that conversation
-
Moncada
no, he needs a reason to get paid, right now he has all the money he will ever need

The official thread of unbridled second half optimism
