Maine South is the Hawks, but whatever. You are so going down on Friday night, it won't even be funny. b****! -
QUOTE(AssHatSoxFan @ Mar 9, 2005 -> 08:31 PM) fairleigh dickinson is dancing, big sky champ. going on now in front of like 20 people it seems QUOTE(AssHatSoxFan @ Mar 9, 2005 -> 09:12 PM) did i say they weren't ever? i said they were dancing and taht now the big sky was going on You put a comma after F. Dickinson is champ. The way you wrote it, it read as them being Big Sky champ.
-
Haha, that's funny cuz I was waiting for something like that. Plus the audio editing was s***ty in the first place.
-
That and Fairleigh Dickinson is in the Northeast Conference.
-
This is horrible news. A lot of us were hoping for him to break open and move through the system quickly this season. Scratch that idea.

QUOTE(Nokona @ Mar 9, 2005 -> 04:21 PM) Also rumor has it that Bruce Weber will be in attendance on Friday. Other rumors have sparked about how he's bringing some players along with. Weber has already been to a game this year. If Dee is in attendance I'm going to have to get his autograph. Despite the team he plays for, he is fun to watch. -
Maryland over Clemson FSU over NC St. Miami over Virginia North Carolina over Maryland Georgia Tech over Virginia Tech Wake Forest over FSU Duke over Miami North Carolina over Georgia Tech Wake over Duke UNC over Wake

QUOTE(Brian @ Mar 9, 2005 -> 08:46 AM) Dan, you obviously do not live in this area, cuz this is the biggest upset in years in this sectional. Waukegan played out of their minds, not missing a shot, and Warren was sloppy. Kudos to Waukegan. I said Warren was overrated and Waukegan is hot/cold. Obviously Warren was the favorite and the better team going in. I think they would probably beat Waukegan 7 or 8 times out of 10. Those 2 or 3 times Waukegan gets on fire and can beat anyone. I meant no disespect to Waukegan because, as I said, when they are hitting on all cylinders, like it sounds like they did last night, they can beat anyone in the state. I've seen Waukegan play a few times over the past few years with the same makeup of the team and same star players (Gaiter, Frazier, Vega) and there is no shame in losing to that team when they are hot. It sucks, I've been there, but Warren should be better next year. -

QUOTE(Nokona @ Mar 8, 2005 -> 09:36 PM) Winner playes the GBN Scheyers. LOL, sad but true! Though, this team wouldn't be where they are now if they didn't have the support players for Scheyer that they do. Did you go to the game to check us out? I couldn't get a ride to the game , but I will be announcing the game on Friday for our HS radio and tv station. A webcast will be available online. Looks like Warren got beat down by Waukegan 63-49. I'm not really all that surprised, Waukegan is a hot/cold team that can beat anyone in the state when hot. Conant! -
QUOTE(SoxFan101 @ Mar 8, 2005 -> 05:19 PM) id just hope they take a chance on the best player available whoever that is.... whether it be weaver, drew, or one of those rice pitchers that didnt sign. The Rice P is Wade Townsend. The Orioles couldn't sign him after he went to class as a negotiating ploy. Once he did that they could no longer negotiate with him.
-
This seemed pretty obvious. While it may or may not be true, it's no surprise. Dealing Escobar made it all too clear.
-
QUOTE(Nokona @ Mar 8, 2005 -> 06:33 PM) I think Gio will put himself on the map as one of the top prospects in the system He already is.
-
QUOTE(qwerty @ Mar 8, 2005 -> 03:56 PM) Then he shouldn't have come out so early and be considered ''the next shaq''. I don't think anyone ever called him the 'next Shaq'. He was called 'Baby Shaq' in high school because he had the build and was the same type of player. I don't know if anyone thought he would be able to put up Shaq numbers. Regardless, you are too harsh on him. On a sidenote, that avatar of your's is hideous, who wants that grease ball in their avatar?

QUOTE(Beastly @ Mar 8, 2005 -> 12:55 PM) #39 was tearing it up...is that Valdez? If so, I really like him! I'm pretty sure that was him. He struggled in the field though.
-
QUOTE(Cerbaho-WG @ Mar 8, 2005 -> 12:19 PM) Demetrius Banks, who should just be named Corwin Malone II. Is he going to start this season? I remember him being the closer for Great Falls, but pitching 2-3 innings per outing often times. That seems like a lot for a guy the Sox plan on using as a closer.
-
I wouldn't be surprised to see Missouri pull some upsets to get to the final. Oklahoma is the only team that is far and away better than the Tigers. Mizzou is playing much better in the later part of the season including a win over Oklahoma. I wouldn't put money on it, but I wouldn't be shocked in the least.
-
QUOTE(qwerty @ Mar 6, 2005 -> 09:23 PM) Do you watch the bulls consistently? Curry only plays well in one quarter ( the first) and they plays like a piece of s*** the rest of the game 85% of the time. Defense is horrible and cannot rebound. Not exactly someone you want in down the stretch now is it? He doesn't get the chance anymore though. Don't forget he would still be a senior in college had he not went pro early. People expect so much, so fast.
-
QUOTE(WHarris1 @ Mar 7, 2005 -> 08:06 PM) In no question. I wouldn't say no question. I still think they need to beat Illinois as well.
-
I find it funny how everyone has taken Michigan over Northwestern. Not that it matters, but I'd almost go as far as to guarantee a win for NU. Michigan is definitely worse than the Cats.
-
QUOTE(Punch and Judy Garland @ Mar 6, 2005 -> 07:02 PM) 79? They shouldn't tease him about making the roster with such a popular number All the minor league players will have numbers in the 60s, 70s, or 80s. That's usually how it works.

We should probably leave pick 'em to a seperate thread. I say they should all be in here instead of contest board. I'll make it now.
-
QUOTE(SuperSteve @ Mar 6, 2005 -> 08:26 PM) Um, I disagree with the Lidge for Guillen deal. He basically gets five top picks, cause I would have taken Lidge before Foulke, but I didn't cause he was a kepper, then I asked what happens if I did take him. I think it's kinda unfair. The question is why you took Lidge in the first place knowing he was a keeper?

I would just like to get this thread bumped up when the Bulls clinch their playoff spot.
