  1. Juan Ovalles is pitching? Who the f*** is that? I follow the minors pretty closely and I have no idea who this guy is...
  2. "I had to admit she had a point, and it kept poking me in the leg." "Mike Tice is currently serving 3-5 years as the Minnesota Viking Head Coach."
  3. QUOTE(Gene Honda Civic @ Mar 23, 2005 -> 07:07 PM) First order of business, did I miss anyone? Ryan Rodriguez should be on there. Rafael Flores had a sub 4 ERA as a starter for Kanny, he might warrant consideration. Also, Tom Collaro (a lot of HRs at Great Falls) and Brandon Allen (5th round pick out of HS this year, struggled at Bristol, raw with loads of talent) are guys that you could add. Finally, Jason has a hard on for Heath Phillips who played for the Barons last year. That's all I can think of for now. It all depends on how many people you want on the list. Looks sweet though.
  4. Hey qwerty, what's the deal with the chick in your sig? It's relatively clean by your taste lol.
  5. QUOTE(qwerty @ Mar 23, 2005 -> 04:41 PM) Funny how lee was loved by many but is now the anti-christ. Agreed, but I've always hated him and was one of the few happy to see him gone. Where were all these people when they flamed me for saying awesome trade? I guess a bad pub article about Carlos and Scott Pod starting hot in Spring and everyone's on board...
  6. QUOTE(ottawa_sox @ Mar 23, 2005 -> 04:36 PM) The Brewer announcer said it was obvious that he threw at him. Always hard to tell. I only have radio. Any thoughts out there? Marte has been pitching inside more this year and hitting batters. Also Lee always did stand on top of the plate. The announcer added that it was the first pitch. It was one of those Marte let's loose to late pitches. I don't think his control is that good when his form is that bad. It didn't look intentional. But from a non Sox fan, or at least someone that doesn't see Marte pitch often, it could look intentional. Marte released as if he was aiming for Lee, but he doesn't always have the release point down. Admittedly, it is a convenient coincidence that it was Carlos though.
  7. Hey Carlos! Hey Carlos! Hey Carlos! YOU SUCK! f*** Carlos Lee. Hahahahaha, what an asshole, idiot, loser. I'm so glad we got rid of this jackoff. "He hit me with that white round thing, he must have been trying to kill me. Maybe I should charge the pile of dirt." Ok, that was bad, I gave him too much intelligence.
  8. QUOTE(CWSGuy406 @ Mar 23, 2005 -> 04:16 PM) Jason, what happened to the rest of the FutureSox Top 25 list? Or, when are they coming out? I was busy this weekend and Jason is a lazy bum. It's not a good combo. He was supposed to get 15-11 out sometime this week, but the week is fading fast.
  9. QUOTE(Chisoxfn @ Mar 23, 2005 -> 12:47 AM) Put it this way, Brown is way cocky and thinks he's the s***, but at the same time he's about as good as it gets in terms of offensive quickness. The guy can break down about anyone, at least in the big west (not that it says much, LOL). Yeah, but he couldn't hit a shot to save his life. He also got stuffed by the rim on a dunk.
  10. QUOTE(WilliamTell @ Mar 22, 2005 -> 10:23 PM) It seems like Sweeney and Anderson are always involved together. The come up together last spring training, they both get reassigned this spring training at the same time, do you think they'll make the big leagues at the same time? I would say Anderson first, but that's me. Barring injuries or a horrible slump that lasts for 2 years Anderson will make it first. And Soxfan1 said Sweeney is scalding the ball...he is hitting .174 (4 for 23) while Anderson is 6 for 20 (.300). Good to see Anderson do well, I'm slightly worried after the way he ended 2004, injuries or not.
  11. And #3 on Fullerton thinks he's good, but blows.
  12. GBN wins state! WOOOOOOOOOOOO! I'm still in awe over this. Conant's gotta be kicking themselves......I feel bad for ya, though I wouldn't trade places. It was a ton of fun to be there this weekend to witness it.
  13. First half rebounding: FDU 20, Ill 9
  14. QUOTE(DBAH0 @ Mar 17, 2005 -> 09:32 PM) To ease the tension for those Ilini fans....... So that Andrew Bogut's good isn't he. I got the Utes in the Sweet 16 on his shoulders.
  15. FDU deciding they can shoot the ball. Illinois is getting slaughtered inside. Amazing.
  16. FDU has to have one of the worst shooting teams in the country. Good lord. Back to watching the scoreboard.
  17. If you're going to say soda is no longer legit without soda fountains, how in the hell to you justify 'pop'? What about it makes it pop?
  18. LMAO, after that run by FDU I should shut up about watching the scores more. We have ourselves a game for a little while longer!
  19. Now, as much as I like offending Illinois fans, I don't mean to here. Does anybody find themselves watching the scores at the top almost as much as the game? All 3 of these games are relatively big picks for me. I have Tex. Tech in the sweet 16, UAB in the upset, and Creighton in always important 7-10 games. I mean, it is a 1-16 game for crying out loud. With that said, FDU is a well organized, smart team for a 16 seed. They just can't shoot. Illinois needs to clean up their game...
  20. QUOTE(The Critic @ Mar 16, 2005 -> 02:21 PM) uhhhh...........................no. Soda, muthuhhhf***aaahhhh! That's right b****! Pop makes you sound like a bubble gum, valley girl teenager. Pop is so unsophisticated.
  21. Just post the info here. Laziness has been a deterant from me PMing you earlier about it.
  22. QUOTE(Rowand44 @ Mar 17, 2005 -> 07:58 AM) A couple of my friends went to watch him play and just said he's absolutely amazing. I guess he had a chance for 50 at the end of the game but got stuffed by the rim when attempting a dunk Yeah that was by far the best game I have ever seen and I've been to a ton of games over the past 3 years.
  23. All I know is my favorite Jason quote of all time is, "I've always wanted to get drilled in the nuts with a baseball." That was such a classic conversation. Watch out if BMac adds velocity too because he might just blow your nuts straight off. Ok, sorry that was gross, but needed to be said.
  24. QUOTE(quade36 @ Mar 15, 2005 -> 04:07 PM) Even Rooney and farmer were talking about a trade to make room for him. Actually, remember the Sox still have a few Minor league pitchers as a backup plan. Adkins could be solid, so could Diaz, and I am sure they haven't given up on Munoz, Honel, Stewart and Tracy. All these guys should be in AAA this year. 1. Munoz blows 2. Honel is nowhere near ready for AAA. He has to pitch a complete start in AA first and who knows how good he will be coming back from the injury. 3. Tracey will be in AA, but I could see him in AAA by midseason if he produces.
  25. QUOTE(WilliamTell @ Mar 14, 2005 -> 03:58 PM) I have AIM, I think it's alright, but I only have it because everyone else from my school has it. I guess you could call it peer pressure. I think that's why half of the people that have it, have it.
