QUOTE (BigSqwert @ Jul 17, 2009 -> 11:00 AM) Just a pet peave I have when adults get all excited about kids things. I'm a bitter old man. You obviously haven't been there...if you think it's only for kids. I, for one, am very excited about the proposed expansion. I am also thrilled to hear that Beastly Kingdom is back in the works for an expansion of Animal Kingdom! I am also a Disney World freak....we go every year. (DVC Member)

Blah Blah...I still will never forgive him for eating all the Pizza at Riddles Comedy Club in Orland Park during the Comic Relief Pitchers benefit show in 2000. Though I will always love John Rooney, at the same event, saying "f*** You Thome" regarding Jim Thome.

Thursday July 16 marks the 40th anniversary of the launch of Apollo 11 that culminated with astronaut Neil Armstrong becoming the first human to step foot on the moon. To commemorate the event, The John F. Kennedy Presidential Library & Museum has an online experience which allows users to track the Apollo 11 mission from pre-launch to lunar touchdown. Prelaunch is already underway. Really cool stuff. http://wechoosethemoon.org/

What's the best seats you've ever had at the Cell?

QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Jul 2, 2009 -> 12:33 PM) Front row down the left-field line in 2005. Joe Crede hit a massive bomb (against Detroit) and I held an idiot fan back from stealing a ball that Pods was chasing. I could have rubbed Pods' junk. I bet you did and that caused his "groin pull" that year! -
What's the best seats you've ever had at the Cell?
RibbieRubarb replied to Marky Mark's topic in Pale Hose Talk
In 1995, My buddy and I went to a game against Texas. It was May 24 and a double-header. It was wet and misty most of the day. Since we had to work, we got there before the start of the second game. The usher told us they closed the upperdeck due to low attendance and that it was general seating in the lower deck. I sat in the first row, aisle seat, behind the visitors on-deck circle. My Buddy sat first row, aisle seat, behind the home on-deck circle. There had to be about 1000 total people at the game. We were able to talk to each other across the field. At one point, Mickey Tettleton jokingly asked us to be quiet as his teammates were trying to sleep in the dugout. -

QUOTE (sweatpants @ Jun 12, 2009 -> 10:22 AM) The Weather Channel. On Thursday afternoon it had 40% chance of storms on Sunday so that obviously changed. It still says Tonight: Overcast with showers at times. Low around 55F. Winds NE at 5 to 10 mph. Chance of rain 40%. Tomorrow: Rain showers early with isolated thunderstorms developing later in the day. High 67F. Winds ENE at 5 to 10 mph. I live in a Milwaukee burb and it's really nice out right now. Thanks Sweat...now let's go live with Jock Strap and the traffic...Jock?

QUOTE (juddling @ Jun 5, 2009 -> 08:56 AM) On an older movie note...last night after Burn Notice..I started digging through piles of VHS tapes looking for a movie to watch. I put in Diggstown (with Louis Gossett jr. and James Woods) and can't believe i forgot how awesome of a movie it is. i got to find this on DVD soon!!!!!!!!! Sure....you watched Diggstown. I will agree that Diggstown was the only movie in your pile of VHS tapes that you could mention here without being censored. BTW, Diggstown...great movie with a young Heather Graham. She got the part because she was dating James Woods at the time.
