In 1995, My buddy and I went to a game against Texas. It was May 24 and a double-header. It was wet and misty most of the day. Since we had to work, we got there before the start of the second game. The usher told us they closed the upperdeck due to low attendance and that it was general seating in the lower deck. I sat in the first row, aisle seat, behind the visitors on-deck circle. My Buddy sat first row, aisle seat, behind the home on-deck circle. There had to be about 1000 total people at the game. We were able to talk to each other across the field. At one point, Mickey Tettleton jokingly asked us to be quiet as his teammates were trying to sleep in the dugout.
