Steven Spielberg is going to direct a remake fo the classic comedy Harvey which starred Jimmy Stewart. As much as a film buff as I am, I am not completely against remakes. I view them like revivals on Broadway. A chance for new directors and actors to take on the material. If it were a vehicle fo Zac Efron and Disney set in a high school, I'd say no. But Spielberg and probably Tom Hanks do provide me a sense of calmness toward the project. http://www.variety.com/article/VR111800681...yid=13&cs=1

I Love these threads and all the hyperbole. Sure...you are done with the team Sure...you'll never watch them again Sure...you hate [insert player/announcer] This same thread happened in September 2005 then everyone came back and loved the team This same thread happened in last year when we got swept in Minnestoa and everyone came back and loved the team blah blah blah I would really love to see someone step up to the plate when tey say they are done with this team and never post again about the team. I am not a number...I am a free man!!! I loved The Prisoner. It is my all-time favorite tv series and this looks great. Ian McKellan is a perfect number 2. I always felt a re-imaging of that series would be acceptable and a good idea. So many more possibilities with today's budget and effects. Patrick MacGoohan did have a hand in this before he passed. For those unfamiliar with the original...Rent it, Youtube it...see it. Ahead of it's time. Lost, Heroes, Buffy...etc...owe a lot to the original series.

More realistic would be trading them for Mantle and Maris...
