Felix has 2 scoreless innings so far. Not even sure how much longer the Angels will play anyone good, so this ERA title is just being completely gifted to Felix.

Was it ever said on TV or twitter or otherwise why Frank Thomas was not there for the ceremony? I mean, he and Paulie played together for 6 years, and every record that wasn't owned by Paulie, was owned by Frank. And their statues are right next to each other. Was Frank bitter that Paulie is getting all the love now? Or that he doesn't have the newest statue? Or that he never got this kind of celebration in his retirement? Or was he part of the "out of towners" who got stuck at O'Hare. Since I was at the game, I didn't get to watch the pre/post game shows, so I wasn't sure if he was in studio. EDIT: Now I see it was brought up a couple posts above mine. Didn't notice that.

He could have easily slid during or after that catch to avoid going in to the stands. Not saying he did it on purpose to be flashy, but saying he played it wrong and stupidly, yet it's constantly being shown as one of the greatest SS plays of all time.

The Sox win last night dropped up back to #9. It will take a loss today and a Cubs win to get us back to the #8 spot to end the season.

And then Eaton had the ball kick off his leg allowing the runner who was on 1st at the start of the play, to score??? That was an obvious error on Eaton and should shave Sale's ERA from 2.17 to 2.12. Where's that change, Joe?

Thanks a bunch Torre, you f***. Took a whole week and the conclusion of Kluber's season to finally decide Felix needs a bunch of points shaved off his ERA? I hope he gets lit up today.

Got to visit the puppy today. Although we had pick of the litter, unfortunately ALL the other puppies in that litter died. Apparently Brittany's are known for being terrible mothers sometimes, and the mom of this litter didn't really give a s*** about letting the pups feed on her, and she even rolled over on at least 1 of them and killed them (she's a fatty too). The owners were tube feeding the puppies for a couple weeks, but they slowly died one by one I guess. Really sad, but we are looking at this positively and saying that the one we are getting must have been the strongest and/or smartest. They have since gotten the lone surviving puppy to be taken in by another dog they have that gave birth recently, so she is being fostered by another mom at the moment. We get her in 2-3 weeks, and she is a beautiful little pup.

I was at the game tonight. The Royals fans were loud, they definitely took over the game. I was disappointed so many Sox fans booed them celebrating on the field. I was happy for them. I mean, I saw history tonight. Ended a 29-year playoff drought. That's crazy to me.

We still have the 9th pick but are.... 1 GB of the Cubs for the 8th pick 0.5 games ahead of the Phillies for the 10th pick 2.5 games ahead of the Reds for the 11th pick A loss tomorrow or a Reds win tomorrow and we clinch a top 10 spot.
