Absolutely fucking not. Keep that clown show away from my team.
-
I'm guessing it's not, but it looks like Malkovich.

Evans having an awful first 2 weeks made me nervous because then my only decent WR would have been Julio. But now Evans put up 190 yards and 3TD. I'm too cautious to ever accept a trade that gets offered to me immediately, it makes me always think there is something I don't know. Clearly I should have just accepted it right away, but if I can still get this David Johnson trade to go through, I'll still be happy.
-
After trying to see if he would take Chark, or Barber, or any of my other players, and him not backing down from Fitz + Sanders, I eventually agreed to those terms. ......and then he backed out. Of course. Said now that Damien Williams got hurt, he can't afford to trade another RB. Now I just have to wait for the games to play tomorrow to see if the other guy still wants to do the Fitz + Jackson trade for David Johnson.
-
I honestly clicked this thread expecting to see that he has retired. Obviously hope it doesn't happen, but he's been away from the sport for 2 years now.

1/2 pt PPR. I've been offered 2 trades... Larry Fitzgerald + Justin Jackson for David Johnson or Larry Fitzgerald + Emmanuel Sanders for Dalvin Cook I actually originally offered that first trade with Mike Evans, but he said he prefers Fitzgerald, but wants to wait until after this weekend to make the deal. The other guy wants Sanders, which even though I still have Julio and Evans, I don't want to lose both my best FLEX options. So I am trying to convince him to take Justin Jackson or DJ Chark, or even Peyton Barber as the secondary player. Should I just pull the trigger immediately on the Fitz/Sanders for Cook trade? Or try to talk him out of Sanders? Or just wait until the weekend is over and hope the David Johnson guy still wants to make that deal?

I won by 0.2 points, and it all came down to that Julio Jones 54-yard TD. I needed 58 yards and a TD from him that entire second half, and up until that catch, he had 0 catches in the 2nd half. I sincerely thought I had lost by 4 yards since he got 54 yards and not 58 on that TD. But I forgot we get +1 bonus for an TD catch over 50 yards. I won by 0.2 ? 2-0.

That would normally be my suggestion as well, but assuming they want him up in 2020 to compete on a club pushing for the playoffs, don't even burn those 20 "confidence" games. Start him in AA, get him to AAA by the end of May, get him to the majors by July. That should be the aggressive goal.
-
Start him at AA next April and make him get on board REAL QUICK.
-
That's how it used to work, but that's changed now. For the White Sox, they would lose their "2nd highest pick" and $500K of INT'L money. If they sign another QO player, they lose their 3rd highest pick and another $500K of INT'L money.

I CAN'T READ TOO GOOD, OK????

Well shiiiiiit. I haven't been on this site much at all recently, outside of the minor league threads.

The ReyLo trade was reference to acquiring Laureano, not Nimmo. Nimmo would likely be had for some back-end top 10 guys as the headline.
-
I'm not sure what Luis Robert in CF has to do with acquiring a RF? How does Robert make Laureano redundant? And I think Nimmo would be a very interesting buy-low candidate. Not too dissimilar to the idea of buying Pederson from the Dodgers last off-season.
-
Damn, was there already discussion about Nimmo in this thread before my post? I honestly haven't read any of the 15 pages.
-
Assuming most of the obvious picks are already mentioned 15 pages in....here are some trade possibilities at least... -- See what the Marlins would give up for 3B/RF Brian Anderson. He's turning in his 2nd straight 3+ fWAR season. His defensive numbers are above average at both 3B and RF. He's got a big arm. Of course, he also has 4 years of control left for the 26-year-old, so the Marlins not only have no reason to trade him, but his price tag would likely be high despite ending his 2019 season with a broken finger. -- Brandon Nimmo would be an interesting bounce-back, buy-low guy. He profiles offensively to a Zack Collins with less power, but more contact. Dude walked 15% last year and 19.6% this year. That's the highest of anyone in baseball with at least 150 PA. Funny enough, Zack Collins also has walked 19.6% this year, except Collins has a 43.1% K rate to Nimmo's 29.6%, and Nimmo is hitting .099 points higher. Nimmo is a LHH, should be available in that crowded OF in NYM, and has 3 years of control left. Shouldn't be that hard to acquire. -- Absolutely 0 reason for the A's to trade Ramón Laureano, but they are so fucking goofy in the way they are ran, maybe they would move him for a package around someone like Reynaldo Lopez + Steele Walker + others.

Asheville was a funky as town. Tons of hippies. Girl at the wedding who used to live near Seattle said it reminded her heavily of Portland.

Tied for the 2nd WC spot with Milwaukee, and Mets/Phillies are both 2 GB. Yikes.
-
MLB Pipeline did a "Let's project what our top 10 might look like 1 year from now" and they had Vaughn as the #4 prospect in baseball being Franco, Rutschman, and Witt Jr.

Nah. Hurricane didn't affect Charlotte whatsoever.

5 HR is a solid day. I had one day a couple of weeks ago in my semi-final round where I had either 11 or 12 HR. I had 2 HR games from Yelich, Alvarez, Story, and Muncy I think. Plus Realmuto, Turner, Eloy, and Aquino.
