I wouldn't be surprised to see Felix struggle a bit in April and then management decide "You know what, he was great for us in the pen and this starter thing isn't working out so far. Let's just put him back into the role we know he can succeed at". And then BAM, you've just gone the easy way and ended his starting career before he even got a fair chance because his bullpen success has given the coach a reason to keep a good thing going. And then you've just drafted (in Sales case) a reliever with your 1st RD pick, and that's about as dumb as it gets.

So where is Soriano going? It appears he doesn't have too many options. I'm sure the Phillies would love to trade Blanton somewhere and pick up Soriano, because ever other team that has made sense appears to be "out of it"

What'd Gorzellany making in 2011? $1M+? Meh. He's cheap, but I'd rather get a bullpen arm. I'd love for the Sox to get Jeff Samardzija with the Cubs kicking most of the money, and use Samardzija in the pen as a long reliever/spot starter with Sale in AAA starting. But most of this has to do with me being a huge Notre Dame fan and being friends with the Samardzija family.

Forgot to mention this, but I had a pretty vivid dream last night about the White Sox. Basically, it was like 2 weeks into the season, and the Sox were pounding the Cubs (I know, the date doesn't match up) like 13-1 or something. Konerko and Dunn were #1 and #2 in HR. I think Dunn had 7, and Paulie had 6, and this was after like 9 or 10 games. I remember Dunn's HR pretty vividly too. He smashed a ball to Left CF and just dropped the bat and trotted immediately. It was awesome. Yeah, I hope I'm less of a dreamer, and more of a prophet. I woke up so happy and then realized there was snow outside. EDIT: Forgot to mention that we had Jim Thome too. Not sure how or why, but Dunn must have been playing LF?

I have been on sports forums since 2004 I believe. I used to be on the 2ksports forums like it was my damn job. I had over 8,000 posts there in like 2 or 3 years, it was sickening...... Anyway, I was just going through some olds threads from 2005-2007 just to see how dumb I was when I was 15-17 years old when it came to baseball. Here are some funny/stupid things I had said. I'm embarrassed..... Dec 23rd, 2006 - The Brandon McCarthy trade..... Dramatic much? lol.
