  1. Yep. Thought of him too, but he had a year with the Mariners last year, and also a former catcher.
  2. Montoyo has experience at least, but I’m hoping it’s not him. Sizemore is just getting his feet wet in coaching. Can’t imagine he’d be considered.
  3. Jackson Holliday is probably headed back to AAA after today. Or he should. He’ll be good someday, but he’s lost.
  4. Ozzie went off in the pregame about Lee should start everyday…especially today. Maldonado is done,
  5. Kudos to Sheets. He was actually ready to play baseball this season.
  6. If you could package Robert, a starting pitcher, and a bullpen arm to a contender in July, it could potentially bring a great haul. You always have to see what teams are willing to give up.
  7. I don’t give a s%*# what anyone says…LuBob has always been, and will always be a cool nickname for Luis Robert. It’s fun.

The Kannapolis game is on Marquee.
  9. Saw that. He’s gotta go, and he can take Maldonado with him.
  10. Vaughn definitely deserves a trip to Charlotte. Get it together, and come back.
  11. Jackson Holliday 1-25 (.040) 14 k
  12. Weather permitting
  13. The game starts at 6:40 Central Daylight Time. Not sure what EST means this time of year unless you mean estimated.
  14. Flush Pedro! Enough is enough!
  15. Disagree. I gave him the benefit of the doubt last year for way too long. Grifol is a bad manager and will never be hired by another team ever. He’s gotta go. So does Montoyo.
  16. The way I understand it, he was already optioned during spring training, so the option was already used. He can come up and down all season and it still counts as one. Maybe it’s changed. Anyway, kind of a strange move after a day, but it’s the Sox.
  17. It’s baseball. it shouldn’t be a given the Sox are going to lose any individual game unless a starting pitching matchup is lopsided. If 3-4 teams lose well over 100 games, there’s something way worse going on in MLB than just the Sox offense being off to a slow start. But yeah, let’s expand to 32 teams.
  18. April 23rd? …please?
  19. Schriffen must use that dog line to get laid. Hey, whatever works.
  20. Shuster made 11 starts for the Braves last year, fellas.
  21. Yes, please wear eye protection while watching White Sox Baseball.
  22. Agreed. In most cases, it’s not normal to assume a young position player is going to miss significant time year after year. Unfortunately, we have a few guys like that. Part of the equation of his trade value is health, and teams know that. When he gets healthy, and teams may be able to acquire a difference making CF for a postseason run, the Sox should listen. Probably not in July, but maybe December.
