For a 3-way tie for the 2nd wild card:
Angels need to sweep the Mariners.
Rays need to sweep the Orioles.
Rangers need to sweep the A's.
Is it true that Konerko didn't want to have that wrist bone chip taken care of over the last couple years because he wouldn't be able to play golf and hockey in the offseason?

Texas-Yankees Wild Card game would be awesome
It would be unbelievable if the Rangers don't make it to the AL final 4. They have been a lock all season.
It's amazing all of these AL teams are taking care of business down the stretch.
If the Angels win twice today, and the A's win, the A's will be one game behind Texas with 3 left....and then they play each other 3 games in Oakland.
The Rangers-A's season series is at 8-8, so that could turn into a 4-game series.

Dunn hitless this series. 1-20 since his dramatic home run. He has a chance to finish up under .200!
You know if the Sox are eliminated, and Dunn is at .200, his season will end right there.
Orioles about to clinch a playoff berth with an Angels loss. I'm sorry, but the locker room celebrations should only be for division winners and the Wild Card game winners.
Trout up with 2 on.

Doesn't even matter to me unless the Sox can pull a miracle and win. Just so frustrating to see a pleasant season for the most part end in such a sour note if they can't pull off an improbable comeback.
I'm hoping (not rooting) for the Sox to lose today and the Tigers win. Get it over with asap, preferably during the Bears game tomorrow night.
