I think it's mental and physical. Mental because he doesn't have a contract for next year, Sox got Rios, and he's probably tired/injured? and doesn't want a DL stint because it's a contract year. But who knows, he just hasn't hit at all in over a month, neither has Rios/Quentin/Beckham.

You guys are nuts comparing Rios to Anderson. This guy is a career .280 hitter, will put up 20HR and 80+ RBI with GREAT defense in CF. There's not many in baseball that can do that and damn near impossible to get without paying BIG money for (Torrie Hunter, Rowand, Damon). He's having the worst year of career so far, but he's still got a month to get them numbers respectable for him.. so calm down and follow Brian Anderson in Pawtuckett or wherever his careers gonna end at in AAA, because HE cannot hit.

I started watching in the 8th inning... i swear everytime i watch the cubs soriano drops the ball. last week he dropped 2 in the only cubs game i watched. i started lmao when he fell down.. I also love how many boo's him and bradley get.

I'd rather have a everyday power hitting first baseman, cheap, for five years over Tony Pena.

trade don't make too much sense.. i just think he is fed up with dye/thome/konerko as 3-4-5 and thome was the easiest to move at the last minute with the dye's/pks contract.
