QUOTE (onedude @ Jun 27, 2009 -> 03:40 PM) Looks like i'm being forced to watch this online. f***ing Comcast sucks big time. My internet has been going in and out of connection the last couple days, and now only fox is f***ing up. I really need to switch cable and internet provider....tired of paying as much as i pay for s*** service. I think it's just Peoria's Fox station then because I have Dish and Fox went out here too. Now, I gotta listen on radio.

QUOTE (Milkman delivers @ Jun 19, 2009 -> 03:36 PM) Oh, ok. I saw that and agree. Is that the very beginning scene? And is that Jesse James? Yeah, it's the train robbery scene and it is Jesse James. Brad Pitt's performance in that was so underrated. Much better than Benjamin Button, which he was nominated for last year.

QUOTE (Milkman delivers @ Jun 19, 2009 -> 09:50 AM) What's the picture in your sig? The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford One of the best films of 2007 if you ask me.

QUOTE (Milkman delivers @ Jun 18, 2009 -> 09:35 AM) How do you feel about John Turturro? "You said it man. Nobody f***s with the Jesus."

QUOTE (Milkman delivers @ Jun 17, 2009 -> 12:14 AM) I watched Barton Fink last night. Pretty good movie, but a little confusing. Barton Fink is not only one of my favorite Coen movies but one of my all-time favorites. I love that movie!

I'll probably see It Might Get Loud when it comes to dvd. Doubt it will be playing anywhere near me. Last night I finally watched Eraserhead. I've seen 3 of Lynch's films before (Mulholland Drive, Blue Velvet, and Lost Highway) and I liked all of them so now I'm trying to make my way through the rest of his work. I'm not sure what I think about Eraserhead yet but this was my favorite scene.

I thought for sure we would lose this one after Jenks blew it. Nice to see the bottom of the order come through in the 9th. Now, let's go beat up on the National League for a few weeks.

Latest Starter Linked to Sox in a Roundabout Way: Roy Oswalt
The Bones replied to fathom's topic in Pale Hose Talk
QUOTE (Milkman delivers @ May 31, 2009 -> 09:08 PM) Whoa, hold on. I just noticed the name change on this. Oswalt was ALSO traded here and declined it? No. Not even close. Go back and read the last page. It's one reporter from Houston with no source speculating on his blog that Oswalt would refuse a trade here if it were to happen. -
QUOTE (Athomeboy_2000 @ May 20, 2009 -> 02:51 PM) Can I make a confession? I've never seen any of the terminator movies. I'm not alone. Also, I saw Angels & Demons this past weekend and it was alright. I'll probably never watch it again but it kept me entertained throughout. I've also never read the book and both my friends who have read it said they didn't really care for the movie.

I watched Undertow, a David Gordon Green film from a few years back, last night and enjoyed it. Not my favorite of his but it definitely exceeded my expectations because it wasn't as well received as his other films. His films all have a very unique feel and mood to them so if you're looking for something different than the standard Hollywood blockbusters I would recommend anyone to check them out. You can also count me as another person who has never seen anything Star Trek but I will be seeing the new one soon based on all the good things I've heard and read.

"Tarp is on." - Cowley's Twitter Radar doesn't look good.

QUOTE (caulfield12 @ May 4, 2009 -> 08:58 AM) Has anyone see "Man On Wire"? I thought that movie was very bizarre/strange...it won so many good reviews, but I would watch Borat, Bruno, American Movie or Waiting for Guffman about 100 times before watching that movie again. Wow...why are you comparing any of those movies with Man on Wire? Only one could be considered in the same genre and even that movie has a completely different mood/feel. And why do you find it bizarre/strange? Yes, it's about a guy who pulls off something unbelievable and unthinkable, which many people would think insane, but it's a beautiful film that shows a man accomplishing his dream and all of the thought and creativity and luck that went into it.

I think you guys are forgetting that "center field is the easiest position to play." -
Cowley just twittered that Owens was saying his goodbyes. Expect a roster move. Maybe Pods?

White Sox (7-6) @ Orioles (7-7) 6:05pm CDT on WCIU
The Bones replied to Disco72's topic in 2009 Season in Review
I think they'll get it started on time. It may rain off and on during the game but it doesn't look heavy enough for any long delays. -
