Something really weird just happened in the Bulls game. The official blew the whistle and then JR Smith shot a 3. They counted the 3... Apparently, they blew the whistle because the shot clock didn't reset. Then you'd think the 3 wouldn't count.

QUOTE (bmags @ Apr 4, 2015 -> 09:04 PM) Went to Fire game today. Wow, David Accam makes them a much more entertaining team. Altidore looked awful. Because Altidore's kinda bad... The only times where Jozy's actually looked decent recently is with the USMNT. He was pretty bad for Sunderland. Otherwise, he'd still be playing in the BPL.

QUOTE (bmags @ Apr 4, 2015 -> 12:17 PM) holy hell check out the goal by stoke in the game today And Adam did it to one of the best goalies in the world in Courtois. I'm not sure how he kicked that ball so accurately.

QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Apr 2, 2015 -> 09:48 PM) The Eva Mendes one was "okay" and then Tokyo Drift was surprisingly good if you rewatch it again today...and fit it into the overall series chronology with Han. Lucas Black (CSI New Orleans) simply wasn't a big enough name at the time to do much more than straight to video business, with all the primary characters out of the action and on the sidelines. Tokyo Drift is probably my favorite of the series. I wanted to drift every corner after walking out of that movie. The new one was decent. If you go into it trying to rip the plot apart, it's really easy, but you just wouldn't enjoy the action of the movie. It's so ridiculous at times that you just have to laugh. The end was very emotional with the Paul Walker tribute. I didn't take his death that hard, but I was on the verge of crying during the tribute. It was very well done and probably the best way to finish off Brian's character.

QUOTE (ZoomSlowik @ Apr 2, 2015 -> 12:15 PM) Noob question here: do you get better rewards if you play Diamond Dynasty online instead of against the CPU? I'd prefer to hold off on online because 1) I'm terrible. I have about as much plate discipline as Juan Uribe after doing an 8-ball, 2) The best players on my team right now are Patrick Corbin, Brandon Crawford and Jarrod Saltalamacchia and I start multiple hitters in the 60's. If you play extra innings, there's probabilities for what players you'll get after you win the game. I don't think online gives you much better probabilities, especially since you're in the lowest division right now. I played one online game. Pitching is way too easy, hitting is way too hard (no guess pitch online), and there was fielding lag all over the place. I think I'll stick to playing against the CPU for now.

QUOTE (Jenksismyb**** @ Apr 1, 2015 -> 09:41 AM) I guess this can go in the tech thread: Amazon Dash: https://www.amazon.com/oc/dash-button/ref=b...pf_rd_i=desktop Get a little button, put it in one of the rooms of your house, press it when stock of an item gets low and it'll buy it automatically from Amazon. Seems like a cool idea until you remember that buying a product on your phone takes approx 20 seconds these days. I seriously thought this was an April Fools joke. Maybe it's because I saw it today.

QUOTE (Chilihead90 @ Apr 1, 2015 -> 12:51 AM) I have. It says I have no packs. Oh you have to "buy" the 15 packs, but it'll be free. Don't go to the pack store, but go to the place where you can buy stubs. It'll be there.

QUOTE (Chilihead90 @ Mar 31, 2015 -> 07:00 PM) I've got to figure out a way to get my 15 packs or whatever I get for the anniversary edition. I redeemed by code in the store, and I got my themes set and stuff, but so far, in game, it shows I don't have any packs. Go to pack management.

Played 4 games of Diamond Dynasty. Lost the first since I didn't have my timing down. Won the last 3. I've built a decent team already with Kipnis, Soler, Quentin, Butler, and A-Rod.

Got The Show. The new equipment looks way better than it has in previous years. The shoes are actually anti-aliased now.

QUOTE (Big Hurtin @ Mar 31, 2015 -> 09:24 AM) Better Call Saul, so Chuck That was a great episode. Odenkirk's acting was incredible in the scene with Chuck.

I'm picking up my pre-order tomorrow. Who's gonna do Diamond Dynasty this year?

Holy crap the Walking Dead finale was awesome.

QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Mar 27, 2015 -> 01:55 PM) How long are the Bulls likely to stay healthy? If they manage to get Rose and everyone back for round 1, are you confident they could last through round 3 without a serious injury? Eh I guess you have somewhat of a point. You have to get through Cleveland one way or another, why not just do it earlier? But you also have to realize Rose needs time to adjust and get his game back. So barring injury, he's better off playing any team other than Cleveland before the CF.

QUOTE (Brian @ Mar 27, 2015 -> 01:43 PM) I'd rather play them in 2nd round than Atlanta. Atlanta's beatable in the playoffs. I'd rather wait till the ECF to play any team with LeBron on it.

QUOTE (Jose Abreu @ Mar 27, 2015 -> 09:28 AM) Haven't looked here in a while, it's to see Butler back and playing well/Mirotic playing well/Rose close to returning. I think we can get the 3 seed I have no interest in the 3 seed if Cleveland is the 2 seed.

How do you get doubled up in the Sweet 16? Jesus Christ. They also shot half as well as Kentucky (24% vs. 48%).

Is anyone else a bit weary of Robertson? Good performances in spring doesn't tell me much, but bad performances along with arm issues are a big red flag in my opinion. I don't think I have to remind you guys of the last time we acquired/signed a big name closer. His name was Billy Koch. That didn't turn out so well.

I've been locked in this week. Hit 3 homers on Tuesday (2 didn't count since it's 1 HR). Went 4-5 yesterday and almost hit for the cycle today (came 10 feet short of a HR in last PA). Believe it or not, I decided to mimic Jose Abreu's stance and moved up in the box. It's been working wonders. I'm keeping my hands back and I'm absolutely right on the ball. When in doubt, study the best hitters in baseball.

QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Mar 26, 2015 -> 10:38 AM) Separation of church and state, love it What jenks said makes sense. If you aren't government-funded, you're not required to separate religion and your business. However, if you do discriminate, your business won't last and you'd just be a terrible business owner. However, if I remember correctly, the religious freedom law in Kansas allowed government-run businesses to turn away certain people. That's just wrong.

QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Mar 24, 2015 -> 11:09 AM) http://espn.go.com/mlb/story/_/id/12506567...center-fielders #'s 6-10.....your what hurts? Idiotic. Mirotic. Cain, Hamilton, Ozuna, and Lagares are actually debatable. Hell, they all had more fWAR than EAton. Myers might be as well given his potential. But if you were to base this on last year's body of work, then Eaton should be top 10.

Mirotic is seriously in the running for RoY. Wiggins is his only true competitor, IMO and his advantage in playing time plays a big role in that. Most of the other rookies get more playing time than Niko, but they're all really inefficient offensively.

QUOTE (ChiSox_Sonix @ Mar 23, 2015 -> 07:34 AM) I can't imagine the English FA giving up their Boxing Day fixtures. I bet the turnaround is short across Europe. I'm assuming a lot of the big name players will be taking a few weeks off at the start of the season.

Barcelona win El Classico. 4 points up on Real with 10 games to go.

I'd rather not replace Thibs with a guy whose team just lost to a 14 seed in the NCAA tournament.
