If Sanchez is being discussed the return would have to be someone like Haniger, or equally good. Or, a SP.

Assuming they move Hoskins to 1B, they need two outfielders...

Better get used to it, pretty sure he won't be signing any time soon.

Considering Machado's market hasn't even started yet (according to the national guys) I think calling anyone a favorite is pretty premature.

I guess my dream meetings would be: Sign FA Machado, Happ and Grandal Trade Collins, Dunning, Madrigal + for Haniger Trade Stephans and Adolfo for Greinke and 30MM

I think the Sox will sign a starting pitcher, but I can't say which one. I also think they will sign Marwin to play multiple positions. I think they might trade for a C, but not Realmuto. If they whiff on Harper and Machado (and I think they will) they will go hard after Grandal, so that might happen instead. Finally, I think they will add a solid bullpen guy, but not a back-end of the pen guy.

Word around town is the Sox are in on everyone, so this isn't too shocking.

I'm not sure how many options he has left, but my guess is that will determine how much rope he gets.

Sox, I guess, because they appear to have the least front office turmoil. Bowman should have gone instead of Q and the Bulls are a perpetual mess.

I think the Sox are serious, but I am putting no stock in the hearsay.

Now Harper is gonna sign with like, the Braves. On Feb 10th.
