  4. Same. I'm totally on the draft the bats philosophy with 1st rounders. Especially at the top. Since we've been ranking, my preference goes Madrigal, India, Bart, Bohm. I'd be all over Bohm if there was more consensus on him being able to stick at 3B. I could flip/flop Madrigal and India if we assume there is notable savings by underslotting India.
  5. Nope. There isn't a generational talent in the 2019 class. Fangraphs has a super early list of possible 2019 first rounders though. Witt and Barco are the two names that I've seen thrown around the most though. https://www.fangraphs.com/blogs/mlb-draft-rankings-2018-2019-and-2020/
  6. Kiley McDaniel @kileymcd Watching UCF/Oklahoma this weekend and my big takeaway is Kyler Murray is much better than I expected: 70 runner, big bat speed, hitting rockets all over the place. Likely doesn’t sign this year so may be the top college bat for 2019 (unless he’s Russell Wilson).
  7. Larnach has some serious pop. Just knocked Bubic out of the game with an oppo HR. His 15th.
  8. It's certainly not a top heavy class. Tons of prep depth. This is where saving some money at number 4 could be a big deal.
  9. Madrigal with a 2 RBI 3B against Bubic. Just missed a HR.
  10. Naw. Way too early. No generational talent to hang one's hat on either.
  11. Oregon St Stanford about to get rolling. Top 50 draft prospect Bubic pitching for Stanford against Madrigal, Larnach and company.
  12. India hit his 16th HR this afternoon. He certainly looks the part at the plate.
  13. Hey. A Basabe hit. Hopefully he gets back on a roll. Also:
  14. Bohm with 2 HRs tonight.
  15. Basabe with his 3rd K. Night to forget on the farm.
  16. He sure doesn't miss any bats.
  17. Collins homer.
  18. One of those days.
  19. Cease is done. Nothing was working tonight.
  20. Probably time to pull Cease.
  21. Josh Norris @jnorris427 Cease got roughed up in the first. FB was mostly 95-97 but the pitch doesn't have a whole lot of life to it, especially when up. Also appeared to be working on CH/SL rather than using hook to finish hitters.
  22. Cease having a rough time tonight.
  23. For those that might be interested in seeing Singer pitch, game starts in about an hour. Will be on the WatchESPN streaming service for me at least. That India guy plays for Florida too. I hear he has some helium.
