Miggy, among other accomplishments, won the Batting Title 4 times. Stud. Hawk loved him. He was fun to watch. I still remember his rookie year at Miami in World Series playing right field. He looked like he was 12. But he could hit, and he made it look easy.

I have zero stats to back this up, but by just watching Vaughn batting in many games, it seems as if he is either robbed by a great play or he hits a screamer right at someone very often. I hope I am right, because this kind of luck usually evens out.

One break Sox got last night was when Timmy knocked in Collins with the go ahead run in the 11th. The right fielder came up with a horrible throw to the plate. Collins did not get a good jump off second, and I was surprised Coach sent him in, but it worked. A good throw would have had Collins, and the inning gets changed.
