  1. QUOTE (chw42 @ Jul 15, 2010 -> 08:08 PM) God damn it, now Quentin might be hurt. ****
  2. Dear Carlos Quentin, You do good with bat, not glove. Stop playing RF. --- Quin
  3. But Quentin is a good hitter, so his defense is good? HE MADE THAT CATCH.
  4. Beckham's Back.
  5. I like it.

  7. Ozzie Ball at it's best.
  8. I really, really like Target Field.
  9. I like Target Field.
  10. QUOTE (hi8is @ Jul 15, 2010 -> 07:07 PM) Me no likey no viceido Then teach him to switch hit. Ozzie no likely the lack of the lefty.
  11. Just looked up some old scouting reports from before the draft and it seems Johnson was originally thought to be a Point-Forward in the making. Plus, I said have him at the point *if* he realizes that potential and it would only be for a couple of minutes a game.
  12. QUOTE (SoxFan1 @ Jul 15, 2010 -> 01:12 PM) Wow, the Magic are taking their sweet ass time deciding on Redick. I really hate that. I'm sure Marcin Gortat and JJ Redick do too. QUOTE (daa84 @ Jul 15, 2010 -> 02:53 PM) afternoon saloon just said theres a report the bulls made an offer to shaq edit: further reported they low-balled him and shaq is probably goin to atlanta...good thing Damn, I was hoping he'd go to the Heat and be a liability. QUOTE (chw42 @ Jul 15, 2010 -> 04:13 PM) The Bulls "low-balled" Raja Bell too, apparently. In other news, Ronnie Brewer will be a Bull if Redick is matched. ESPN says that Brewer really wants to come here. I'd really like both of them and have a SG-SF rotation of Redick-Brewer-Korver-Deng-Johnson. Hell, maybe if Johnson realizes his Point-Forward potential, he could run the point at times to let Derrick rest.
  13. QUOTE (witesoxfan @ Jul 15, 2010 -> 01:51 PM) I assume it was the touchdown to what'shisface against the 49ers. That was a pretty marvelous play. Yup. I'd still take Buehrle's or (what I think should have won) that college kid going all Willie Mays Hayes and jumping over the catcher to home.
  14. QUOTE (fathom @ Jul 15, 2010 -> 11:35 AM) He was up for the award, but R. Rondo won. They showed footage of the perfect game as well. Favre won it, when all the other plays were more impressive.
  15. If we got Dan Haren, I would die of joy. It would take something like: Hudson, Flowers, Torres, Morel, Short, and then maybe Gilmore on top of that. But I'd do it in a heart beat. With a healthy Peavy and Sale in the wings, that's the scariest 1-6 in the majors, far more then what we thought this years team would. Only problem is I don't know the trade relations since Byrnes was fired.
  16. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Jul 15, 2010 -> 08:11 AM) If the stuff about his private life/kids hasn't strongly suggested "This isn't a good guy" to you, and the way the Lebron shenanigoats went down hasn't added on to that, then I'm not sure what it'll take to convince you. I meant specifics that only whitesoxfan101 would know. QUOTE (whitesoxfan101 @ Jul 15, 2010 -> 09:25 AM) Exactly. I do have sources though, although you don't really need them to know all of that about Wade. The con man that is Dwyane Wade is kind of an open book down there, but people choose to ignore it because he's a great player, as well as the fact he covers for himself well by attaching to some positive stuff done in the community down there. That's what I meant, since you said multiply what we think about him by 10.
  17. You know what would be absolutely crazily awesome? If Reed decided suddenly to live up to his potential (well, that he had) and went to RF while Q DHed. It'd be like Freddy or Pods, yet about 1000 times less likely and 10000 times more awesome.
  18. QUOTE (whitesoxfan101 @ Jul 15, 2010 -> 12:56 AM) Let me tell you, whatever you've heard about Dwyane Wade, multiply it times 5 (maybe even 10) and only then do you have the real story. Classic con man and has been for years, but now the whole world knows it. He's a heck of a player and has built a heck of a basketball team around himself though, I'll give him that. But just a bad guy. ...sources?
  19. QUOTE (SoxFan1 @ Jul 14, 2010 -> 11:55 PM) Here are some of the remaining options for the Bulls: PG: Jason Williams, Will Bynum, Rafer Alston, CJ Watson, Carlos Arroyo, Earl Watson, Jamaal Tinsley, Anthony Johnson, Sergio Rodriguez, JJ Barea SG: JJ Redick, Matt Barnes, Ronnie Brewer, Roger Mason, Shannon Brown, Josh Howard, Sasha Pavlovic, Rasual Butler, Jarvis Hayes C: Brad Miller, Kurt Thomas, Tony Battie, Shaquille O'Neal, Francisco Elson, Rasho Nesterovic, Kwame Brown, Fabricio Oberto, Etan Thomas For a second, I was thinking you were suggesting we bring back Jay Williams.
  20. QUOTE (fathom @ Jul 14, 2010 -> 11:40 PM) I've said for two years that Wade had no intention of coming to the Bulls, and sadly, it seems like the information was correct. I give Wade credit though, he's the most powerful person in the NBA now. He really is, which is sad. He is also the douchiest.
  21. QUOTE (iamshack @ Jul 14, 2010 -> 11:22 PM) Nah...I am a boob man... I could have sworn you were a left ear man.
  22. QUOTE (SoxAce @ Jul 14, 2010 -> 10:39 PM) I like one of the quotes from a poster on realgm. Rose with a 3-point shot will be lethal. Absolutely lethal.
  23. QUOTE (chw42 @ Jul 14, 2010 -> 09:47 PM) Very nice remix, I like what you did with the colors. Thanks. They were meant to represent the outlook on the season getting brighter and brighter.
  24. http://www.nba.com/summerleague/games/2010...I/gameinfo.html Bulls on the Summer League Roster of note: James Johnson: 7 points, 3 assists, 5 rebounds, 6 fouls Joe Alexander: DNP (injury most likely) John Lucas III: 25 points, 3 assists, 9-12 from the field, 6-6 from behind the arc Derrick Byars: 0 points Chris Richard: 3 points, 7 rebounds Matt Bouldin: 8 points, 3 assists, 3 rebounds, 2-5, 2-4 from behind the arc Lucas seems to be making a case for back up PG. He's 27, has NBA experience, but is playing out his mind right now.
