  1. Ah, yes. "Intensity" here means "asshole."
  2. Was just reading this and I was like "cool, they send us Gleyber. Makes sense. Who else? Ahahahahahaha."
  3. Never count out the man who signed Albert Belle.
  4. A Cody Bellinger, Kolten Wong, Jose Quintana offseason seems both super White Sox and somehow unobtainable.
  5. What are you talking about? Our outfield defenders all improved under him.
  6. [insert Kelenic joke]
  7. Seems to be "don't show up high." https://www.espn.com/mlb/story/_/id/28804440/mlb-players-subject-penalty-using-pot
  8. Abreu on that Padres team will absolutely shatter my heart because they'll give him what the White Sox should have.
  9. I don't understand how this thread is still going with Bellinger being a free agent.
  10. All types of bad. All. Types. Of. Bad.
  11. In a vacuum, Conforto or Bellinger?
  12. And both of these are preferable to getting injured like Chris Sale or Tatis Jr.
  13. It's easy to eliminate teams based on this map.
  14. Dark blue needs to be bluer. Way too close to black.
  15. I mean in the first batch of City Connects, the White Sox and Miami were the only top tier ones. Now you've got more good ones like the Angels and Nationals.
  16. Currents are the best and one of the all-time best. '59s are great. Late 80s are under appreciated. Echoing the grays are great when they have the diamond logo. City Connect is top tier. Originally it was just the Sox and Miami, now they've got teams like Washington joining them. The '83s are overdone but I don't hate them. I think they should rotate historical alternates on Sundays.
  17. The one owner wealthier than Cohen.
  18. All of these cause me pain. Somehow the Astros cause the least pain.
  19. This gif is phenomenal.
  20. Quin replied to Texsox's topic in SLaM
You guys can keep this thread on the actual student debt relief program + headlines on its status. Deviating with political talk, opinions, etc. is gonna shut the thread down.
  21. You are unfortunately correct.
  22. I had to look up who we traded Devenski for and boy did that make me want to vomit.
  23. Because he's an incredibly talented arm that the Sox signed knowing his age, knowing he'd have to ramp up in the DSL. Even last year, he was still league appropriate age for the levels he pitched. He had an injury, got to the mound, and then the Sox kept him on an innings limit and he still mowed batters down. He'll be in Birmingham at 23-years-old, which is age appropriate for a high level prospect. It's not like a 28-year-old, iron gloved Yermin Mercedes having a hot month and suddenly everyone penciling him in as a core piece.
  24. This is an instance where I feel like Gavin Sheets or Jake Burger is a throw-in and turns into a 30 HR, 100 RBI machine, because Rays.
