  1. I mean in the first batch of City Connects, the White Sox and Miami were the only top tier ones. Now you've got more good ones like the Angels and Nationals.
  2. Currents are the best and one of the all-time best. '59s are great. Late 80s are under appreciated. Echoing the grays are great when they have the diamond logo. City Connect is top tier. Originally it was just the Sox and Miami, now they've got teams like Washington joining them. The '83s are overdone but I don't hate them. I think they should rotate historical alternates on Sundays.
  3. The one owner wealthier than Cohen.
  4. All of these cause me pain. Somehow the Astros cause the least pain.
  5. This gif is phenomenal.

You guys can keep this thread on the actual student debt relief program + headlines on its status. Deviating with political talk, opinions, etc. is gonna shut the thread down.
  7. You are unfortunately correct.
  8. I had to look up who we traded Devenski for and boy did that make me want to vomit.
  9. Because he's an incredibly talented arm that the Sox signed knowing his age, knowing he'd have to ramp up in the DSL. Even last year, he was still league appropriate age for the levels he pitched. He had an injury, got to the mound, and then the Sox kept him on an innings limit and he still mowed batters down. He'll be in Birmingham at 23-years-old, which is age appropriate for a high level prospect. It's not like a 28-year-old, iron gloved Yermin Mercedes having a hot month and suddenly everyone penciling him in as a core piece.
  10. This is an instance where I feel like Gavin Sheets or Jake Burger is a throw-in and turns into a 30 HR, 100 RBI machine, because Rays.
  11. I see we're going back to the mid-to-late 2000s White Sox philosophy of "trade all the top prospects for silly reasons" here.
  12. You're correct! His history of dumbassery also includes breaking his hand punching the mound over a Jake Lamb home run. Clevinger idk, but Plesac is definitely a top tier dumbass.

So, my wife is a Star Wars fan, but definitely wouldn't call herself one. She doesn't like any of the movies except for Episode 3 and Rogue One. She does like the TV shows (except for Boba Fett), because that's where she began Star Wars (specifically, Mandalorian Season 1). She absolutely fucking loved both of these moments. They did so much to sell the universe that Star Wars lives in.
  14. I will gladly take Aaron Judge through age 36 and suffer after that. Especially because baseball is trying to figure s%*# out, so I wouldn't be shocked if the juiced ball returns.
  15. It would certainly insulate against losing Jose Abreu.
  16. And why pundits are always like "can you believe [insert org here] was able to grab two first round quality picks!?" Yes, because they essentially have two first rounders.
  17. Well the ending of this game is incredibly frustrating.
  18. Ok, while not likely, it is Bruce Levine, so I'd say it's slightly more than zero. *takes another hit of copium*
  19. Lefty outfielder from Mizzou? You know @Lillian and I are on board. Looks like he's got got some pop, speed and .OBP skills - the only shitty part is a high strikeout rate.
  20. I immensely dislike this.
  21. Lauri finally balling and Max Strus being a Heat contributor are just killing me.
  22. Because he asked if we had to pick between Benintendi or Conforto. So we picked? And Gallo's main spot is pretty much "all of them."
