I like the confidence. After all, the Sox do have a good playoff history at Minute Maid.

Based pretty much on these two alone, I'd roll up with Rodon-Giolito-Lynn-Cease if we're on the road. In a picture perfect world, that sets you up for Lynn to close it out at home. Plus, I think of all the pitchers, Rodon might get the biggest "good" adrenaline boost from pitching Game 1.
  3. Third word in the post is "juvenile." But I went back and looked at what the ask was according to Reddit Insider Man: It was Madrigal, Heuer, Stiever, Thompson and then the Brewers came back asking for Crochet. Also worth noting Rodon hadn't resigned, so you're not replacing Keuchel in the rotation, you're replacing Rodon. You're swapping in Burnes for Rodon, Mendick for Madrigal way earlier, I guess ReyLo for Heuer (and who knows which ReyLo that is. I don't know if Charlotte was good or bad for him), and...Mike Wright/Kyle Crick for Crochet? If it was just Madrigal, Heuer and minor leaguers + you could keep Rodon and jettison Keuchel, by all means, do that all day every day. But it's not a vacuum.
  4. If I had to take a stab at it, maybe it's because the scouts putting those grades together think he can't put it all together? Kind of like a less than the sum of his parts scenario.
  5. Needs to ditch the Keuchel beard.
  6. Tony La Russa once sent me to the bench in The Show - and I'm convinced he sent me to AAA - because I didn't draw a walk in two weeks. I was hitting .380 and led the team in homers and RBIs. It all comes back to Tony.
  7. My personal belief is in the Church of Eloy. The disciples of which, now that they have returned, are bashing and mashing.
  8. The Sox win 10 games/Robert home run. So Robert only needs to hit 2 HR in the playoffs. Checkmate haters.
  9. In 2015 he was banging this drum. I've been flabbergasted since, because it's so obvious. http://www.futuresox.com/2015/10/26/why-investing-more-in-minor-league-salaries-is-smart-baseball-business/

Cool story. Here's some science. https://www.cdc.gov/media/releases/2021/s0806-vaccination-protection.html
  11. I would like Dallas' mom to toast the team at a steak dinner and yell "CHAMPIONSHIP OR DIE, BITCHES."
  12. They'll probably be playing winter ball, because that's what real champions who grind year round do ?. Don't doubt the greatness ???
  13. Taylor Trammell has out produced Kelenic on his own team. .160/.256/.615 with 8 homers in 178 PA vs. .160/.239/.523 with 8 homers in 253 PA This is now the Taylor Trammell thread.
  14. My god I hate this stadium.
  15. State Farm is there.

I know people in Missouri who say the government never pushes anything for free / this much without some sort of agenda. The agenda is obviously keeping people alive and trying to keep the nation from total collapse, but whatever.

I've repeatedly documented how I had mild symptoms. An unvaccinated friend went to Miami and is now struggling with fucked up lungs and getting winded every few steps. An acquaintance's sister was unvaccinated, she lived in Florida. She died.
  19. You're named after Danny fucking Wright.
  20. And also this:
  21. The White Sox will be doomed going into October. They don't have a true closer - just a fat, overweight minor league reject after the international star fizzled out. Our homegrown star left. The truly big, big power bat we need is injured and we don't have a real DH. The rotation is smoke and mirrors, because we're vulnerable and only have 4 starters - a soft tossing lefty, a Yankees' reject riding a hot streak, a sweaty trade acquisition, and a bum from the Cubs. You know how they're bums? They can't hold a 15 game lead against the Indians. These are facts don't @ me
  22. If Olympic Zach is an actual thing - which may be possible since he has Vuc and DeRozan, plus Ball orchestrating all a bunch of athletes - I can live with our defense.
  23. Yeah the meme doesn't work as well considering their starting lineup pre-Vuc was younger than some colleges, but they have to be younger than when Gar made those comments and signed...Wade and Rondo.
  24. The Bull have gotten younger and more athletic. Gar in New Orleans:
