Yes, the official unemployment rate has been calculated in the same way for a long time.

So if I can't afford medical bills for my 2 year-old, I can just have her killed also? Since that's the litmus test here and not whether or not she is a human being with a right to live?

The head coach sets the tone for a football program, and he can know as much about his players' whereabouts as he wants to. There are plenty of staff under Kelly to help him with this. On two different occasions, I had classes with players and was paid $100 per semester to report on the players' class attendance. Don't tell me every school does that. -
The problem isn't that Farmer isn't suited for radio. The problem is that Farmer is suited for analysis and not play-by-play. I'm guessing that analysts are cheaper than professional broadcasters, because the Sox have opted to employ four analysts and have two of them doing PBP. PBP and analysis are two different roles, but since ditching John Rooney, the Sox have treated them like they're exactly the same.

I knew a lot of players and coaches, and no, it didn't happen. The South Bend Police Department and St. Joe County prosecutor's office have never been on good terms with the University, so there is no chance of making anything just go away, then or now. -

I'm sick and tired of Brian Kelly embarrassing my alma mater. This kind of s*** didn't happen when Lou Holtz was in charge. -
Job would be in Carmel. Taking into account the location of the job, proximity to family, and school districts, our top choices would be Washington Twp, Brownsburg, Zionsville, or McCordsville.

Ha, well it would be a major step up from Louisville, plus my wife's family is all there. I was really hoping for NW Indiana but wasn't getting anywhere up there. At the very least it's about 90 more Sox games a year on TV without buying MLBEI.

There are documented cases of survivability as early as 19 weeks, so can I put you on record of being against all abortions at or after 19 weeks?

Getting close to landing a job in Indy. Survived the screening call with HR, phone interview with potential boss, in-person interview with potential boss, and next week have final interview with potential boss and his boss.

Sox vs Cubs could drop to 3 games a year
cabiness42 replied to southsider2k5's topic in Pale Hose Talk
If I understand this correctly, teams will keep a permanent 3-game series against their "rival", and then play five 3-game series against an entire division, so one of every three years, the Sox will still play the Cubs 6 times. This realignment and tweaking of the schedule is the best we're going to get until the NL decides to adopt the DH and then we get full-blown realignment. -
Know how you cut down on Juan Pierre's base-running outs? By not signing Juan Pierre.

Yeah, if only lottery numbers had the same odds as picking the Sox record.

If Lugar loses in the primary then I'm voting for Joe Donnelly, and I'm far from alone. If the right wing of the party wants to lose a Senate seat in order to send a message, then that looks like what you're about to do.

Except that ours isn't really voluntary. I mean, whether or not you actually recycle is voluntary, but the fee is collected whether you do or not.

Just on 4/20 or all the time?

Defensive linemen rotate in and out so much these days that your third DE isn't really a backup. He plays almost as many snaps as the first two. If the Bears could have still gotten him ten picks later, then they missed an opportunity to trade down, but then none of us really knows that one of those other teams wouldn't have taken him. A guy who can get to the quarterback, especially when you play a Cover 2 and don't blitz much, is always a good pick, if that's what this guy turns out to be.
