6/21 Games
Hell yeah. Only 19 years old as well. His offspeed stuff never blew me away from the highlights tbh. Solid SO/9 though. Hope he keeps it up.

Crochet hoping to be a starter
Do you basically have to start from scratch after TJS? For example, if he had built up innings as a starter in the past, would it be easier for him to ramp up the innings post surgery than if he was a reliever with lower innings per year?

What the hell is wrong with Giolito?
Did he put on too much muscle mass? Did he lose too much on his fastball? Is he not using the change enough? Does he choke against good teams? Jimmy brings up a good point. What are fans so worried about resigning him when he isn't that good this year?

- White Sox Dead Money 2019-2022
Damn, I completely forgot Eaton. Good call.- White Sox Dead Money 2019-2022
I can't help but think about all the players to Sox acquire that end up being dead money. It's typically barging bin contracts on washed up players. Going back to 2019 (because I'm lazy), here are contracts that were basically worthless. It may be unfair to include relievers (Herrera) and guys who just aged poorly, but I did. Is it normal for teams to have this much dead money? I understand it for teams that are big spenders, but the White Sox aren't big spenders. 2019 - 20.5m total Kelvin Herrera - 8.5m Jon Jay - 4m Yonder Alonso - 8m (bought out) 2020 - 36.5m Edwin Encarnacion - 12m Nomar Mazara - 5.5m Yonder Alonso - 1m (buyout) Kelvin Herrera - 12m (buyout) Cishek - 6m 2021 - 2m Cesar Hernandez (2m~) Eaton - 8m 2022 (23.5m) Keuchel - 18m Harrison - 5.5m TBD - Yaz - 18.2m- 6/15 Games
What a freaking stud Montgomery looks like. I wish they would have gone after high schoolers in early rounds in the past.- Tear it the hell down
- Cubs 2022 thread
I'm sure they're frustrated by his inability to hit too. He's been just awful.- 6/15 Games
That's kind of what I figured. Sox are towards the bottom in the minor league system rankings. It would be really surprising if they had 4 top 100 prospects given their minors rankings.- Nice Membership, Soxtalk
Hard to think of a more unenjoyable member than that guy. Buzz Killington.- It's time to put Jose out to pasture
If this continues into next year, it will be a Brett Favre - Aaron Rodgers situation between Abreu and Vaughn- 6/15 Games
Do we really think we'll have 4 top 100 prospects? I feel like Montgomery and Sosa will get on there. Not sure about Colas or Ramos. - White Sox Dead Money 2019-2022
