  1. I definitely think the Hawks can bounce back, but a big part of it is if Crawford is healthy. Big if I get that. Because when you look at the skaters, they did run into some bad luck and were good analytically and by the metrics.
  2. Kimbrel, Moustakas, and Kuechel for me if we can't get Machado or Harper
  3. I'm currently sitting at 58-45-5 (3rd place) as I've had a rough last couple of weeks. We just had our mid season FA draft and after a few trades, this is how my teams looks now. C Yadi Molina/Brian McCann 1B Freddie Freeman/Greg Bird 2B Dee Gordon/Scott Kingery SS Xander Boegarts/Andrelton Simmons 3B Kris Bryant/Marwin Gonzalez/Mike Moustakas OF Bryce Harper/Giancarlo Stanton/JD Martinez/Mitch Haniger SP: Gerrit Cole/Carlos Martinez/Jose Berrios/Dallas Kuechel/Julio Teheran/Marcus Stroman/Luke Weaver/Kyle Freeland/Mike Foltynewicz RP: Wade Davis/Blake Treinen/Felipe Vazquez
  4. Scott Powers came out with an article that he's heard the Hawks will be targeting Justin Faulk, Scott Darling, Tommy Wingels, and James VanRiems Dyke in the off season.
  5. He has an OPS over 900. Stop crying.
  6. Just listened to Garfien's podcast, some interesting tidbits. If Madrigal was taken 1-3, Sox were going to take Alec Bohm. Garrett Guest (Midwest Cross Checker) was adamant in taking Steele Walker in the second round. Real high on Lency Delgado. 70 arm. 70 power. Will start at SS, but most likely go to 3B as he grows. Highlighted the pitchers in rounds 12-15 as huge power arms that with mechanical changes they can be real solid.
  7. I agree, he will not be there long. Who I think they will target? I would like some HS talent, but I don't think that happens. I would assume more college pitching and hitting.
  8. Basabe is more ready for AA than Rutherford and it's not close.
  9. Fisher could probably go to AAA if they wanted to push him. Eloy will be there soon.
  10. Rodon/Kopech/Stephens/Covey Are you forgetting Lopez and Giolito. Those two still have big roles in the future still
  11. Hahn has mentioned before in interviews that he does have a twitter account to see all the rumors and what not
  12. Tim Anderson is currently rated as the 12th best defensive SS in the game according to fangraphs. He is 10th offensively. With players shuffling in and out, Tim Anderson is currently a top 10 SS.
  13. Shields will get traded. Sox will eat the money and hopefully can get a deal like they did with Melky last year. Puckett is a legit prospect, he's just hurt all year though.
  14. You make room. Shields will get traded eventually. Covey can go into long relief role too.
  15. Disagree. I think Giolito needs to figure things up here. Rodon/Lopez/Shields/Covey/Giolito, then Kopech comes up soon.
  16. Charlotte Flair is out indefinitely. She ruptured a breast implant
  17. Not to mention with Nia that apparently she hurt Alexa Bliss as she now has a shoulder injury. I'm with you, Nia is awful and I've never been a fan. The tag match with Owens and Zayn was just pointless and dumb the way it happened. I'm surprised more people didn't boo because it was an extremely boring match. I was actually entertained by the Joe/Reigns match for the first two minutes, but everyone knew what was coming. Amazes me that Reigns gets dominated entire match and pulls off one spear and wins. How is the creative team this clueless? Just awful writing. Despite the predictability of the outcome, the match between Rollins and Miz was amazing. Rollins is back and the future of this business again. Also, how the hell does Finn Balor not have a match here?
  18. That was the dumbest PPV in a while. Only matches I liked was Rollins/Miz (best in the business), Alexa/Nia, and the Elias segment (made me lol). Everything else was awful. They have completely ruined Styles/Nakumara
  19. I was at Mania last night. The beginning of the show as amazing, was genuinely impressed with every match until the end. The Styles/Nakumara match was dull as it was very slow paced for two high level guys, but the heel turn was fantastic. The Braun tag match was atrocious. That's the best WWE came up with? Really embarrassing but a cool moment for Nicholas. Lesnar/Reigns match was really bad too. We were chanting this awful and the most entertaining thing during the match was there was about 6 beachballs going in the crowd and security was trying to catch them lol. When they did, we all chanted delete and booed them. Also, since no one expected Lesnar to win, he got a huge pop when we did win. I was honestly shocked and so happy that he did. He probably loses it tonight I think, and I hope Joe or Bobby Lashley bury him. Outside of those matches, everything else was really great. I had a blast and I cannot wait for RAW tonight.
  20. I really want Brett Spillane from Illinois. Just go look up his numbers and then pick up your jaw from the floor.
  21. QUOTE (iWin4Ron @ Mar 30, 2018 -> 07:45 PM) Ah 10 teams. Your Pitching staff is mediocre at best, but that's my kind of style so I'm down with it! The hitting is stone cold killer. Has to be in the top 3 (probably #1) hitting squad out there, that's the way I like to go! To me tho, there's got to be better players on the waiver over keeping a second catcher or Senzel / kepler / Manaea and even Cozart. These guys are fringe guys in 12 team leagues. Who's the best on the waiver? Any closers? Jose Martinez (1b STL) available? I know my pitching is spotty, but Martinez and Kuechel usually do a good/great job. In my league, we have no waivers. When you draft a team, that is who you have all year until we have our midyear FA draft. Consisting of three rounds and three picks, but you can also trade these picks. Draft order is based off worst record from last year. So, currently from trading, I have 7 of these picks This is a very complex league and we have a 6 page rulebook. We're diehards who love fantasy and baseball lol. QUOTE (ChiliIrishHammock24 @ Mar 31, 2018 -> 12:18 AM) Damn, that offense is nasty. Did you have keepers? Otherwise I have no idea how you got Harper, Stanton, and Bryant. Those are all top 10-12 guys. Your pitching staff is hit or miss, especially your bullpen, but your offense should keep you in it. But since you said you are H2H category, that means you are going to probably win most hitting categories, but lose a lot of pitching ones. So even if you demolish guys on offense, you don't win any more than 1 category at a time. So, had you been in a points league, this strategy would have been better, IMO. Yeah I get that, but pitching is so hit or miss. My guys have just struggled out of the gate. I had a worse pitching staff when I won it all and I've finished in the money the last 3 years with essentially the same pitching staff.
  22. QUOTE (iWin4Ron @ Mar 30, 2018 -> 07:01 PM) Looks like a beast of a team, but hard to evaluate it properly without knowing how many teams and what type of scoring. 10 teams. Head to head category. Rs, HRs, AVG, RBIs, SBs, OPS and Ws, Ks, SVs, WHIP, ERA, and QS
  23. I'm in my 4th year in my dynasty auction league. First three years I've come in 3rd, 1st, and 3rd. My roster looks like this this year: C Wellington Castillo 1B Freddie Freeman 2B Dee Gordon 3B Kris Bryant SS Xander Boegarts OF Bryce Harper OF Giancarlo Stanton OF Andrew McCutchen UTIL Adam Eaton OF Max Kepler SS Zack Cozart C Yadier Molina SS Tim Anderson 2B Scott Kingery 3B Nick Senzel SP Carlos Martinez SP Dallas Kuechel SP Gerit Cole SP Julio Teheran SP Taijuan Walker RP Wade Davis RP Felipe Rivero SP Sean Manaea RP Brad Brach Thoughts?
  24. QUOTE (Sox-35th @ Mar 29, 2018 -> 03:49 PM) Stealing is so stupid right now It wasn't a steal. It was a read ball in the dirt, and Delmonico's read was not good.
