  1. ALCS game 1 tickets were all gone when I got in.
  2. I suspect we'll see some tickets become available at 2pm when general public window opens. ALCS home game 1 hasn't had any options really either unless upper corners or singles are your thing.
  3. Yermin hasn't played since September 16th, and is currently on Charlottes temporary inactive list as of September 23rd. Not exactly sure what that means, but chances are he did something stupid. Suffice it to say, Yermin isn't an option.
  4. Got Sox home games 3/4. So I guess I am going to be big Red Sox/Yankees fans in the ALDS. Cuz that'll be Fri/Sat games 6/7 if we play them. And a mid-week Wednesday game (and the other gets refunded) if the Rays. Still trying on Sox home game 2, but no luck so far.
  5. Yes. Can't really get through and only options I am seeing for ALCS Game 1 and 2 are upper corners.
  6. Last question for now: So if you buy tickets to the projected Mon, Tue, Wed ALCS games in Chicago (games 3-5), and then the Yankees/Red Sox for example beat the Rays in the ALDS - will those tickets just become tickets to games 1, 2 and 5 in Chicago?
  7. So basically, if the Sox play the Rays they are Mon, Tue, Wed games in Chicago. If they play anyone else, both games 1 and 2 and 6 and 7 are Fri/Sat games.
  8. Do they show projected dates on the ALCS games? Probably sort of hard to pin that down right now I guess not knowing how long ALDS will go and who opponent will be.
  9. He's definitely earned a roster spot. Between Sox trying to control Kopech and Keuchel's innings next year for different reasons, I see no reason why ReyLo won't get 12-15 or so starts.
  10. Ehhhh. And then risk TA or Robert or Moncada getting one on the wrist for further retaliation? Fuck that shit. Move on. We have legitimately nothing to gain from playing beanball or starting a brawl with the Tigers in the last series before the playoffs.
  11. Yeah, with a day off tomorrow I don't really see the need to punt this game with Mike Wright. Guess it depends on how long Rodon can go. If Carlos can only got 2-3, probably unavoidable. Truth be told, if Wright pitches in this game, just jettison his ass off the roster tonight and bring in a fresh arm for the weekend. Dude sucks.
  12. Are these open to general public now or just those with season ticket plans?
  13. Yeah. I mean the market dictated the return, but obviously the Cubs were very incentivized to move Kimbrel and seeing as though he now a Sox, no one was offering more. Hahn did specifically say that Heuer was the hold-up that the cubs we not blinking without him, and Hahn finally agreed to include on deadline morning. But yeah. Big Codi fan myself (as well as Nicky), so it was a tough one for me to swallow. Hopefully Craig shows up with the bright lights turn on next week.
  14. Good test here against a good pitcher. Hope the bats can show up again - lets take this mini-series.
  15. You’re aware Goodwin is on IL, yah?
  16. I think it’s possible for a game or two in the ALDS, yah. Then go from there.
  17. Yeah, I admittedly didn't take a deep dive into Codi's Cubs numbers, but he's still been just a serviceable as Kimbrel. I'll certainly take Kimbrel over Heuer for the 2021 playoffs. But still just a huge overpay, and I remain confident that Codi is going to be a very nice backend reliever for a long time, and we controlled him for peanuts.
  18. One of the worst parts of the deadline was selling low on Heuer. He's been better than Kimbrel by himself and is going to be a great pen peice for a long time. I have no problem selling high on relievers but selling low was so puzzling. I know Hahn specifically said there was no deal without Codi, but man it was an overpay without him. Adding him in was just salt in the wound.
  19. Tepera running out of time to get back and knock off the rust. He's a guy we need.
  20. I'd personally just run Vaughn out there over Sheets, platoon be damned. But we'll see.
  21. I'd still rather see Vaughn in LF and Eloy at DH. But seems pretty much guaranteed Eloy is our LF in the playoffs. Which means Vaughn is going to be competing with Sheets for DH at bats, because I think Leury is going to be in RF assuming Engel isn't going to be healthy enough to play everyday (if at all). I think this is the best realistic lineup: TA SS, Robert CF, Abreu 1B, Grandal C, Eloy DH, Moncada 3B, Vaughn LF, Engel/Leury RF, Hernandez 2B If Engel were healthy, I'd put him in RF and Leury at 2B instead of Cesar who I hate. But chances are Engel isn't going to be healthy.
  22. But why hit a guy when you're up 0-2 in the 9th inning and just worked your way back from down 6 runs to down 1 in the bottom of the 8th? It doesn't make any sense. Not to mention, Wright hit a guy (who basically hit himself) with 2 men on. Such an obvious non intentional HBP. Retaliating in that scenario requires a pretty poor understanding of the game. They didn't hit Abreu intentionally. They did, however, pitch him inside intentionally which obviously comes with a higher chance of a HBP. Until the Sox start protecting Jose by doing what he did or throwing at opposing teams, opponents are going to continue to do that to Jose because it is the most effective way to pitch him.
  23. That being said, don't blame Jose one bit for his reaction. Its got to get tiring, and he's been scuffling. Taking a 95 mph FB on the elbow cap can't feel good. He almost boiled over last week when he took one square on the forearm.
