Colas is going to be the RF, it's just a matter of if he breaks camp with the team or spends a few weeks in Charlotte. They still need a 4th OF not named Gavin Sheets or Leury Garcia regardless of what they do with Colas in April.

This could be total BS, and likely is, but there is reason to believe the Sox are after a C with the previous, although supposed, interest in Murphy and Jansen. I’m opposed to adding a C at the expense of Seby and not Yaz, but if Yaz really is cooked, I worry about what shortsighted move they do make as the likelihood they simply cut bait doesn’t seem high to me.

Yeah, we all took a barebones rebuild as a sign they were changing how they operated. How naive we were.

For all the the talk of sustained success at the start of the rebuild, they’ve don’t little to back that up. Unless they sell off parts for prospect hauls again for another reset, there is little in the minors to build with after the current roster hits FA and or prices out of the Sox range. There is definitely a window, and a ticking clock for that matter.

Really sad watching Deni Avdija outplay Patrick "Mr Invisible" Williams last night. Perfect opportunity to assert himself with Demar out and all he managed was 6 points and 6 boards in 33 minutes.
