  1. No one should be untouchable after this s%*# show, but I sure don’t have any hope or faith in the idiots in charge to get it right.
  2. If Kasper & Beckham get the full time TV gig it just makes it easier to listen to the radio call. Not hearing either of them while also missing all of the dumb gimmick and the awful horrible jingle is A OK with me.
  3. Hahaha sure Heyman, the most hands on owner in the game won’t be involved. Sure sure.
  4. So Jerry is gonna TLR this hire again? This fucking team just can’t get out of its own way.
  5. Jays seem content with their interim. He coached a lot of their guys in the minors so I wouldn’t be surprised if the interim tag is removed.
  6. Cease: A Abreu, Andrus, Cueto, Lopez, Hendriks: B Eloy, Kopech, Vaughn: C Lynn, TA, Robert, Moncada, Zavala, Graveman: D Harrison, Sheets, Velazquez, Pollock, Ruiz, Foster, Bummer, Kelly, Diekman, Giolito, Engel, Grandal: F Leury, Keuchel, TLR, Menechino, Cairo: F- Anyone I missed I really don’t give a s%*# about.
  7. I don’t even care about individual grades, collectively they get an F, from the top down.
  8. Let us all be stricken with baseball amnesia and be freed from the memory of this wretched season. Good goddamn riddance.
  9. They are talking like its a forgone conclusion that Pito is gone.
  10. Maybe they know there will be about 50 people at the park today and planned accordingly.
  11. Letting him go is the right move, even though it hurts. I just want him to get his much deserved ovation if this is his last game in a Sox uniform.
  12. Start Abreu one last time for f***'s sake. Give the man his swan song.
  13. Look how quickly Ozzie wore out his welcome in Miami. A fucking decade ago. He Has Not Managed Since. There is no way to know if the Ozzie of old is still in there. Ozzie is also all about Ozzie. Frankly, its just not worth the risk.
  14. The likelihood of someone choosing #79 again seems low, and the team might encourage players to choose another number in deference to Abreu. I think Pito belongs amongst the Sox greats, but I can see arguments against retiring his number. Emotionally I say yes, but won't be overly upset if it doesn't happen.
  15. Good Riddance to this miserable year from this wretched team. Bring on the offseason change please.
  16. If I’m choosing between Eloy or AV, I keep Eloy. What he’s done the 2nd half is really just scratching the surface IMO. He absolutely has to DH, and be reminded not to do stupid things that might hurt himself, but his bat still has the best chance to be special. Power hitting less athletic 1B are much easier to find. I’d rather keep both, but if I had to choose I’m keeping Eloy.
  17. There’s no reason that this org can’t be tops drafting & developing and carry a payroll in the top 10-15, investing in young talent and adding in FA where needed. They simply lack the will to prioritise and invest.
