Eloy is still hurt, TLR still putting him in LF
That is correct but also a weird schedule set-up. Sox played 3 in Chicago after ASG, then will play 2 in Coors, then back to A's in Chicago.

Can the White Sox right the ship without making any major moves?
I would say that the White Sox are so far an average type injury team. Teams like Minny, Detroit, Cubs, Red Sox,Braves etc have about 20 injuries compared to Sox w 12 on average.

Injuries
Most MLB teams have about 12 players on day to 60 day injured. Several teams have 9-10 and several, like Twins and Tigers, have about 20. Twins with 20 on injured still leave the Central and Tigers with 20 are left in Central.

AND THAT'S A WHITE SOX WINNER!!!
Hey Engle and Pollock gave the lineup the punch they needed.

5/22 GT - Sox @ NYY (Double Header)
They smell blood in the water w Chapman. Do we counter w Hendricks or wait till/if we get a lead.

WE need a ground ball

5/22 GT - Sox @ NYY (Double Header)
I agree but we are down to 6 batters. But their meat is coming up in 8th and 9th

5/22 GT - Sox @ NYY (Double Header)
We have 1 batter in the lineup hitting over .240. Good Cueto is shutting them down.

5/22 GT - Sox @ NYY (Double Header)
I know it is going to be very hot and muggy today. So play TA at SS one game and let him DH the other game. Yanks have two pretty good pitchers so we need TA's bat.

5/22 GT - Sox @ NYY (Double Header)
Selfishly, I wish Cease had one of these games. Coming back in NY after his rough start last week against the Yankees would have been good if he had a solid outing against them.

5/18 Sox @ Royals | 7:10PM CT
Hendriks would be very valuable come trade deadline unless he implodes before then. Moncada is 26. Some teams will definitely offer a decent return for him

5/18 Sox @ Royals | 7:10PM CT
No. If they ( not sure who makes these decisions) need changes they should make them win or lose tomorrow.
-
5/17 Sox @ Royals Game 1 | 1:10PM CT
The Sox need the runs as well.

5/17 Sox @ Royals Game 1 | 1:10PM CT
After the rough Yankee start, I can see Cease bouncing back w a gem against the Royals.

Menechino is movable
In fairness, Tim Anderson is in top 5 in AL batting average. So I would say he looks very sharp in the batting box also considering w his .335 average he has struck out very few times. Now he may not be excited and he may not be sharp in the field, But in the batters box he is very sharp so far.

Contenders/pretenders
Agree. Also as we saw w the Braves, mid-season acquisitions can have a major impact. It is a long season and some teams in mid-May will look and perform much differently in September.

GT 5/15: Yankees @ SOX,1:10 pm CT, NBCSC
Tough to lose to a guy named Nestor.

GT: Yankees at White Sox, Game 1 - 7:10 CT
Agree with the timing. But judging the Kelly signing based on his first week back is pretty dumb.
-
Robinson Cano
In fairness it should be damn you JR or Kenny or Hahn . Pick one. This is not a major loss but the Sox have a weakness and Cano could be worth nothing or he could become a nice addition. You cannot use the money excuse.

The Upcoming Yankee Series
I find the weather forecasters struggle to get the daily weather right. Having said that, there is an 88% chance of rain Saturday. Hopefully prime seats have a roof over them.

All Injuries - One Link
Running the bases is also dangerous. So it looks like relief pitching is the safest place for him.
-
Cleveland at Sox-Game one, 7:10 CT
Cora was not an option. Boston wanted him back after his suspension.

Old Sock Drawer, ex Sox player discussion
He is a big kid at 240lbs.

AND THAT'S A WHITE SOX WINNER!!!
Not having Apple TV, I was outside looking in. Actually following via my PC. Where did the broadcast originate from and who were the announcers?
