Baldwin was on fire in Charlotte, the Sox call him up and he’s sitting, WTF is the matter with Getz and Venable, try the hot hand you bozos.

Ryan Noda at first base, looks like the Elko experiment is over. They’re better off with Vargas at first and Sosa at third when he comes back.

I didn’t go to school that day because of a cold and watched the game on WGN with Jack Brickhouse calling the action, greatest baseball fight ever with Dropo destroying Enos Slaughter. In those days the White Sox only televised day games thinking that night game attendance would suffer if they televised them.

I’ve been calling for Baldwin’s return all week.

He’s been playing LF just about every game, anyone think that Benintendi could handle first base with Baldwin taking over in left field.

I saw that too and realize that Vaughn is bad but of all horrible guys that have played with the Sox it’s hard to believe Vaughn would be the third worst but then I thought that if you are really bad you wouldn’t get 2,000 ABs even with the White Sox.

Maybe Elko will come around knowing the Vaughn isn’t around anymore to take back first base but I’m not holding my breath on that scenario.

I can’t remember a guy striking out 5 times, I’m sure it’s happened.

Venable has to go with his best players instead of these goofy lineups, Slater with 5 Ks, Palacios is just plain bad. It looks like we were all wrong about Elko. Baldwin is hitting .380, time to bring him up, have to find a position to play regularly at, I don’t want them moving him around. He’s been playing LF at Charlotte, Baldwin has played some first base in the minors, try him there since Elko and Vaughn have no future with the Sox.

Elko is really good with the glove, a shame he can’t get it done with the bat.

I think the Elko experiment should come to an end.

Do you mean the rest of the way? If so, it might be for other teams but much as I like the direction of the Sox no way they go 65-30 the rest of the way.

Sox were 5-21 in April, throw that month out and they are almost respectable and there’s a good chance they will improve as the season progresses.

The last month they are playing at a much better pace, they will win 60+ games.

Agree, Teel at first, Baldwin and Lee back to the big club. Elko back to Charlotte, not sure what to do with Vaughn, will the Sox eat his salary and DFA him.

I have actually read some reviews that had the Rate as high as 20th and 21st, can’t remember what sites did the reviews.

Remember about a month ago some ex player said that Vaughn had lousy work habits, at the time I just brushed it off but now I’m thinking that there was some truth in what that guy said.

I think Tauchman is right now worth more to us than we would get in a trade, he’s a very good guy to have around. Of course things could change like a contender losing an outfielder and might overpay to get a guy like Tauchman.
