We have a season ahead of watching big roles from Jon Jay, Yonder Alonso, Ervin Santana, Wellington Castillo, and Ivan Nova, after watching Shields, Derek Holland, etc over the last two years. I am seriously considering a scenario where that truck didn’t swerve and I am in hell.

Wow. You really get a feel for the dearth of talent on the mlb squad when they split it up. The home game has two guys who are going to be starters in 2020, Jimenez and Anderson, and the road game has maybe two Moncada and Madrigal. This rebuild is going to take a while.

My fear is he makes the opening day roster, the money becomes guaranteed and he has nothing ala Shields.
