I just somehow obtained, through a magical box that also displays pictures of naked girls, the new album by North Carolina Super Shredders Between the Buried and Me "Alaska". Haven't gotten all the way through it but so far I'm loving it. So heavy yet so sweet and melodic. It's getting me really pumped to see them next week at the Whisky. I've also been wearing out Alkaline Trio's "Crimson" (So far my album of the year for '05) and dredg "Catch Without Arms" (Where have these guys been all my life?)

Used to love the show, but I fired it after the whole carjacking episode from last season, it was just too much. I haven't seen an episode this season, though I did catch the end of the episode where Nate dies.

Why do these experts seem to keep forgetting they're talking about the Chokeland A's? I remember how great the A's were heading into the playoffs in '01, '02, '03.... I forgot what happened to them though....

For some reason, I just don't forsee any trades going down with the Sox involved. I don't know why, but I think KW is gonna stand pat, which is a mistake in my opinion. I really hope I'm wrong though...

Man for some reason I really think KW was telling the truth about no major trades this year. I don't know why possibly because both he and Ozzie are in agreement about not disrupting chemistry, which I kind of get, but this team could definately use some more pieces to complete the puzzle. I really don't want this team to dominate the central (which I think they will continue to do) then get in the playoffs and get wrecked by Anahiem, NY/Boston etc. Perhaps I'm just buying into KW's stealth mode and he'll surprise the world with a blockbuster deal.

I really don't find him funny at all. All the promos for his show, the things he was saying, nothing was really original. Old men using Viagra, Skinny Girls, Adam and Eve, it's all stuff we've heard before.

The just had a dugout shot and everyone was wearing their regular jerseys. Thank God.
