I totally agree....and as we've seen him start to air it out a little bit...it's looking more and more like he has zero idea where the ball is going, and just isn't seeing the field.

Talent or Desire?
The White Sox organization is the equivalent of someone spending a bunch of money to fix up an apartment that is in a bad building, and bad neighborhood. The end product might look nice on the surface, but when you look a little deeper, you realize the improvements were made to a place that had a bad foundation, and there isn't a ton of upside to your investment. The point is, it's very clear this organization isn't built to succeed in the current baseball landscape. They are behind the times, like always. Day to day coaching, analytics, support staff & training, as well as the minor league system and coaching. It's rotten at the core. It's not just TLR, it's not just Hahn, it's not just Kenny, it's not even just JR. It's ALL of it. Nothing changes until it's all flushed out.

Is anyone even enjoying or really getting satisfaction out of these articles? I guess it’s nice to see different media types on different platforms going in on the Sox, but it’s the same point over and over again, and the same point most of us have been saying forever. Nothing changes until new ownership arrives. Until then, we’ll be stuck in the same loop. I know that doesn’t give us much else to talk about, but it’s just the reality of the situation.- Reese McGuire (+ Taylor Broadway) to Red Sox for LHRP Jake Diekman
And it's not a surprise to see some of the teams including in that area of the graph...Tampa, Minny, Cleveland, San Fran, St. Louis, Milwaukee....all franchises that over the last decade + have shown they are usually ahead of the curve on things, certainly much moreso than the Sox.- In their own words...

Could you image going to this one? It would be like paying to attend a funeral- The biggest difference in the AL Central
I fear the White Sox FO will feel the same way as OP this offseason...- 9/20 Sox vs Cleveland
There is a lot of "sizzle" in the names you listed off, but really not sure how much "steak" there really is... Not sure Robert will ever see 500 PA's in a season. I don't know what the hell Moncada is, but 2019 Moncada hasn't been seen in quite some time. Eloy is a DH and is paid market value, not a lot of surplus there. You have a core in Cease-Anderson-Kopech-Vaughn, and then a bunch of question marks. The problem is a lot of the question marks are paid a lot of money, along with a collection of talent that are no longer question marks, they are just bad. And they're being paid a lot of money to be bad. This season was an absolute DISASTER for the franchise. Not sure how it could have gone worse, honestly. I really don't know where they go from here.- 9/20 Sox vs Cleveland
I know these jobs are in VERY high demand...but who worth a damn wants to inherit this mess? Sorry, this isn't just an overreaction to tonight, as listed above, the Sox have an insane amount of money tied into a collection of talent that simply can't compete in the worst division in baseball. The system is still in the bottom third of the league and the entire organization needs to be re-started, for an owner who likes to do things "his own way"- 9/20 Sox vs Cleveland
I truly don't care. I'm really not interested in the soap opera that I assume this off-season will be. They don't deserve the attention. They'll have another clown show of an off-season like always, because it's who they are at their core. It's truly "White Sox Business" as Kenny so eloquently put it all those years ago.- 9/20 Sox vs Cleveland
Been that way since about the middle of April. f***'em all.- 9/20 Sox vs Cleveland
It's funny, the longer TLR is gone, you realize two things. Tony has been a huge issue, while also realizing he is FAR from the only problem. It goes so much deeper than that- 9/20 Sox vs Cleveland
This is who they are- 9/20 Sox vs Cleveland
IT TOOK YOU THIS LONG?!?!- 9/20 Sox vs Cleveland
What a fucking joke.- 9/20 Sox vs Cleveland
Kind of a perfect way to end this season with the Sox only trade deadline acquisition blowing it- 9/20 Sox vs Cleveland

If they believe he is as bad as you think they believe...literally anyone else- 2022-23 NFL Season thread
I don't anyone in the league knows what Fields is yet. And if they truly feel that way, then why even start him? What are they doing if they feel so badly about Fields they'll only let him throw it 11 times?- The White Sox cannot be fixed by next season
My mom died 9 years ago, but pretty sure she loved me. But that doesn’t change the fact you’re a weak-skinned troll that loves to drop in threads and keep up this crusade defending LaRussa, and when someone calls you out, you can’t handle it.- 2022-23 NFL Season thread
Here is what I don’t get. You don’t know what you have in Fields. It’s Year 2, and he’s with a new staff. This isn’t a playoff team. You aren’t going to find out by having him throw 11 times in a game.- The White Sox cannot be fixed by next season
Cry about it- The White Sox cannot be fixed by next season
No you weren’t. You’re just a shitty troll with a shtick that has been called out multiple times.- Is the best outcome the playoffs?
There just is no reason or evidence to think this will happen. While I agree with the thought, there is no reason aside from pure “hope” that anything significant changes with JR still running the organization. - DVS drops the hammer...
