  1. I really regret not starting Lopez in fantasy today. But at least I have Moncada.
  2. Sadly Engel will probably return if Leury is out for awhile. The guy has 9 lives.
  3. Who will pitch the 8th if Herrera is unavailable? Bummer?
  4. Alonso is terrible
  5. In a perfect world, Vaughn would be able to play outfield or somewhere other than first base. But that doesn't seem to be the case. Even so, there's no reason not to take him if the Sox deem him the best player available. Guys like Sheets/Burger/Collins might not pan out anyway, and if they do, they would have trade value that the Sox could use to acquire someone that fills a position of need. Basically my point is that the Sox shouldn't pass on Vaughn if he's the best option just because he plays first base.
  6. I don't really understand this mindset at all. The White Sox proved to the entire world this past offseason that they will not sign elite free agents. Vaughn's bat has been compared to Donaldson and Goldschmidt. I don't care what position he plays if he hits like those two. You should always take the best player on the board and Vaughn might be that guy at #3. The positional aspect of things will work itself out over time.
  7. Let's says Baltimore goes underslot at #1 and Witt goes #2. Would you guys want Rutschman or Vaughn?
  8. This will change the landscape of MLB forever!
  9. If the Sox were going to acquire someone from the Nationals, it should be Max Scherzer. But I don't see that happening for a number of reasons.
  10. Aaron Bummer has been really good this season. Much better than Fry.
  11. Situations like this is why having Delmonico bat second is so goddamn stupid
  12. Cut Alonso and Castillo and call up Collins. That's what I'd do.
  13. The approach at the plate is awful tonight. Bieber will pitch a complete game at this rate.
  14. Lopez doesn't look that good today but I can't complain with the results so far.
  15. This feels like a game the Sox will lose.
  16. Giolito looks fantastic today.
  17. Between that stupid drum and the wooing, I'm watching the rest of this one on mute.
  18. Where is Joe McEwing when you need him? Or Jeff Cox? Or Joey Cora?
  19. Moncada loves hitting in Cleveland
  20. He is probably the worst hitter I have ever seen get an extended opportunity with the White Sox since I started watching baseball almost 15 years ago.
  21. If the Sox pass on Vaughn for Abrams, they will regret it.
