  1. That guy has literally never been right about anything.
  2. Okamoto does have experience playing OF as well. I’m not sure what the quality of his defense is there, but that is probably the best spot for him on this team. I don’t think they will sign him anyway though, I’m guessing he will be a a Pirate.
  3. Okamoto would be great if they have trades lined up with Vargas/Sosa for pitching. I’m not counting on it though.
  4. Because he had nothing around him for most of that time. I don’t think it’s a coincidence that he started playing better once Teel and Colson were called up.
  5. Certain matchups against RHP potentially at 3B/DH, but there is so much history/baggage with him that I can’t possibly see them actually bringing him back.
  6. Francys has to be trolling us because there’s just no way that makes any sense.
  7. What was the reason Roch didn’t go pro out of high school? He was asking for too much money?
  8. I would be stunned if the Sox paid as much for an unproven pitcher as Imai will likely get. Though to your point, that could no longer be the case if Ishbia is involved.
  9. It’s worth noting that Baldwin was better defensively in CF than any other position he played last year. And I think he would benefit from playing one position consistently as opposed to constantly moving around.
  10. If they do trade Robert, I think Baldwin is the best internal candidate for CF.
  11. Yeah I wouldn’t give 3 years to Bader. 2 maybe and even that might be too much. JJ Bleday could also make sense as a stopgap option.
  12. Sosa could also make sense for them.
  13. Kepler gives me 2021 Adam Eaton vibes in terms of being cooked.
  14. He projected 1/8 for Kepler. At that point you might as well spend a little more and get a guy who can play CF in Bader.
  15. I’d rather have Bader than Kepler. I’d rather have Austin Hays than Kepler too.
  16. I hope they don’t make him a starter again. He was much better out of the bullpen.
  17. Is Chase Petty considered semi interesting? I don’t really know. I’d target Hector Rodriguez if they are trading with the Reds.
  18. Well his value is so low at this point anyway that they don’t have anything to lose by rolling the dice again.
  19. Then they should just keep him and hope he plays well in the first half of 2026.
  20. I remember the Sox were interested in Petty awhile ago, but he was bad in AAA. He’s still young, but his prospect shine can’t be what it once was.
  21. If they are willing to eat half the salary, the return should be way better than a couple lotto ticket pitchers coming off of Tommy John. If that’s the best offer they’re getting, just keep him.
  22. Could free up salary for the Mets to take Robert though.
  23. Quero has to be way higher than that against lefties. He absolutely mashes them.
