  1. Exactly. The game has passed Cooper by.
  2. Lopez and Cease have taken significant steps backwards under Cooper's tutelage. The same goes for Giolito. He literally went back to work with his high school pitcher coach to fix his issues instead of Coop.
  3. I wholeheartedly agree with all of us. As it sits now, the Sox are still probably a year away from being a legit World Series contender. There have been a lot of good things to come out of this season but this is still a very young team. Hopefully the right pieces will be added this offseason to make this team more well rounded.
  4. It seems to me like the Sox have been coasting and taking things for granted since last Thursday. I hope the ejections and the ending of last night’s game lit a fire under these guys.
  5. I mean the Sox have been having a pretty bad meltdown since last Thursday when they clinched a playoff spot. lol
  6. The Sox don’t even deserve to win the division the way they’ve been playing. At this point I just hope they don’t have to face Cleveland in the Wild Card round because that has disaster written all over it.
  7. This is the most painful loss the Sox have had in years. It’s going to take a long time to get over it.
  8. Who’s going to pitch the 8th? I would say Foster but Ricky wasted him yesterday like an idiot.
  9. What is your logic behind that? Just curious.
  10. a 6 pitch inning to start things off for Quantrill. Wonderful!
  11. Quantrill is pitching for Cleveland tomorrow. I wish the Sox would move Giolito up a day to maximize their chances of getting the win. Because they probably aren’t beating Bieber anyway.
  12. That first inning killed them. Had the Sox scored the game could’ve been totally different. Get Encarnacion’s washed up ass out of here.
  13. The Sox just have to go 4-3 the rest of the way to win the division. Let’s do it.
  14. The Sox control their own destiny...just gotta win a couple more games and the division is theirs.
  15. Really hoping the Sox can play Houston or Toronto in the first round.
  16. Madrigal is such a good hitter
  17. Crochet is obviously going to stay in the bullpen for the rest of this season, but I wonder if the Sox will put him on the Chris Sale path. Have him be a high leverage guy next year and then stretch him out to become a starter in 2022. I feel like that would make some degree of sense because Keuchel would be nearing the end of his contract at that point anyway.
  18. If he’s not healthy why would the Sox have him pitching?
  19. Robert and Moncada need to have this entire series off against the Reds. They’re just so bad right now.
  20. If Mazara is the starting right fielder for this team next year I will freak the fuck out.
  21. I guess so. And I won’t be heartbroken if the Sox aren’t the #1 seed because I really don’t want to play Cleveland in the 1st round. I’d much rather face Toronto or Houston.
  22. Can someone explain how pretty much forfeiting tomorrows game makes any sense? Because if there’s logic behind this I don’t understand it.
  23. Can’t win em all. Just regroup tomorrow and take 3/4.
