Once again, you are. For some reason, you're still choosing to ignore the word "harmful" in the definition of conspiracy. Something harmful does NOT need to be unlawful. For those of us that still value literary comprehension, one could argue that the White Sox choosing not to promote an outfielder that was playing extremely well while the major league roster was in dire need of someone that was healthy and could (hopefully) provide a boost offensively was "harmful" to the major league club. Since the non-promotion can be deemed as "harmful" in this case to the prospect of the major league clubs success, it would therefore validate my totally 100% super cereal conspiracy theory claim.

People could conspire to do something without said thing being criminal. It's my "conspiracy theory" because it's based on absolutely nothing other than my tin foil hat that they conspired to keep him down because they knew the clubhouse was in shambles and would've been a poor influence on him. Also, sending a player to four different levels in one season is a lot so I don't/didn't actually mind that he wasn't called up last year.

I think he breaks camp with the Sox. I don't really see the benefit of sending him back to Charlotte given the skill set he'd provide the Sox. I think the service time bit is overblown because I'm not sure they would/should care that much about "team control" in his age 30 or 31 season.

That works too. That's why (IMO) they seem to be emphasizing "maturity and preparation" over "results" with him this spring.

My conspiracy theory is that they were self-aware enough to not expose him to the toxicity that was occurring in Chicago.

I was talking in regards to injuries. I'm curious what the difference YoY was in injuries for pre/post pitch clock implementation. Obviously it wouldn't guarantee any outcome one way or the other at the ML, just curious to see what the results are.

I'd be curious to see if there was any change YoY in the minors when it was implemented.

If you factor this extension into the original offer I'm sure the Sox still somehow believe that their offer was better.
