  1. Also leads the Barons with 114 IP after tonight's start. Guessing he ends the season around 130ish IP (three series left after this one, so three more starts) which is super encouraging as well.

    The Rock
  3. Send this jabroni packing too while you're at it Jerry
  4. Smell ya later nincompoops
  5. In a very SSS in A+ (9 games, 35 ABs) Salas had a .472 OPS. Seems overly aggressive to send him to AA.
  6. There are only three weeks left in Kanny's season, but hopefully it's nothing serious.
  7. Yeah I believe they just need to finish outside the top 6 post-lottery drawing in order to have a chance at a lottery pick in 25
  8. Boooooooo
  9. If the Sox are going to blow chunks next year as well, I'd prefer they miss out on "winning" the '24 lottery so they have a shot at winning it in '25 for Ethan Holliday.
  10. I don't think the current ownership group wants to deal with all that would go into a new stadium. I think they'd ideally like to make that the next buyer's problem.
  11. If you do the sub through MiLB.com, you can enter in a team nickname in the promo field, (BARONS, KNIGHTS, DODGERS, etc.) and it used to knock like $10 off the sub fee.
  12. I believe it'll be a minors deal.
  13. I'd rather have diarrhea for a week
  14. I don't know if he completely fell out of the top 30, but Jake Burger comes to mind. I'd have to guess it rarely happens.
  15. Elko is/was an older first baseman that was playing (mashing) against much younger competition, but striking out nearly 30% of the time. If he continues to mash in Birmingham against age appropriate competition and keep the K% at a reasonable level, I think it's feasible that he would jump on the back half of the top 30 list. His demo just usually isn't all that exciting unless you're an absolute wrecking ball at the plate.
  16. He's playing nearly three years under the average age in AA, and like @Timmy Usaid, sticking at third shouldn't be an issue. He's improved a good deal at the hot corner.
  17. FWIW Cots says it was $75,178,000 to start and year end was $73,162,000.
  18. The Barons are now more exciting than the White Sox
  19. The ron jinx is apparently alive and well
  20. Someone should tell Pedro his team is 23 games under .500, wins don't mean s%*# at this point in the season pal.
