  1. Good for him, good luck to him in retirement/semi-retirement. I'll miss seeing him in the dugout during broadcasts. He's been an awesome trainer for the Sox.
  2. Don't forget never calling for a bunt. This is the American League. Never bunt. It's one of my (and others I'm sure) main criticisms of Rick Renteria.

I think that Jason Benetti has improved vastly since he first started with the Sox. My memory of his first season was him trying to crack far too many jokes and whatnot, pretty much all the time. I think the feedback has reached the Sox and Benetti and he's a better announcer for it. He talks way more about the game now. Sure he still has his jokes, but he's improved a lot. I like him and I hope he's the White Sox announcer for many, many years.
  4. You can't predict injuries. That's all I can say about this. To all you negative folks, try some positive thinking. Guys have TJ all the time and come back from it. As a current example, look at Jacob deGrom. He had TJ in 2011 and is now a Cy Young candidate. I'm hoping for the same type of recovery from Kopech.
  5. I'm late to this thread but I just want to say I'm honestly baffled as to how some folks posting here are upset about this callup. If he's ready, he's ready. I am extremely excited.
  6. Folks, like it or not, this is what intentional losing looks like. I, for one, am taking it in stride this season. Still love the Sox, and I'm excited for when the minor league guys are finally up, be it later this season or next year (or further down the road in some cases).
  7. I don't believe this will be the last team meeting this season.
  8. If Fulmer is going to make any difference on the major league team he has to be sent down in an attempt to get his shit together. This is brutal.
  9. Oh shit. Not you Robbie. God damnit.
  10. Ballgame. See you all later.
  11. Wish I could watch. This season interests me greatly even if only that every Moncada AB has become must-watch TV. (And I'm going to miss it today!)
  12. Wow. Davidson would apparently be a first ballot hall of famer if he were to only ever play the Royals.
  13. I'll be honest with you I get really worried every time Anderson throws the ball and I was prepared for the worst on that double play.
  14. This team is legitimately capable of losing 120 games.
  15. Holy s***, a run scoring single.
  16. Aaaaand time to go to bed. Goodnight.
  17. This is so White Sox of them to do nothing against a guy who's been knocked around by every other team he's faced this season so far. This literally happens every year. It is a constant.
  18. How stupid can this team get? Seriously.
  19. Same s***, different year.
  20. QUOTE (harkness @ Apr 5, 2018 -> 10:26 PM) yolmer has 3 good games and all the sudden according to Hawk he is the next ian kinsler... and people falling for it. Hey maybe he has got it figured out.. but.. yeah its like waay to early for all of this. I mean he did have a -0.1 War last year... 3.5 bWAR last year -0.1 in 2016
  21. QUOTE (Jake @ Mar 31, 2018 -> 06:44 PM) The WGN strike zone graphic is ludicrously wrong. They must have known it, too, because it's gone now.
  22. I look forward to the rosin bags being tested for their integrity all season long.
