  1. I believe the Mets hold the record at 231 losses over 2 seasons. They followed their 120 loss season with 111. So that’s the target number.
  2. This team is absolutely hot garbage but I’d be surprised if they shatter it. It’s really fucking hard to lose 121+ games.
  3. Struck out without seeing a pitch close to the plate. Javier Baez level at bat there
  4. The back half of the Guardians lineup is White Sox level bad.
  5. Horrible scouting and he obviously wasn’t good. Amazing some of these guys are paid to do this.
  6. If I'm the Dodgers with as much talent and depth as they have I'd much rather give the internal options a chance than bring in a guy who has been hurt constantly and that will cost them a lot of money when you factor in luxury tax penalties.
  7. It is also comical to make this push based on a 2 game sample size, especially one where it isn't even like the offense set the world on fire. It is just jarring seeing competence after whatever the hell Waldron was doing.
  8. I'm quite confident at this point that any of the other rookie QBs would be total disasters in this scheme and with this oline. The number of plays where the QB just has zero chance on film is stunning. And now Williams is playing hesitant bad football on top of it (and I think he has been hammered over the head with being conservative which is why even on the few occasions someone is actually open the ball is slow to come out).
  9. Firing Flus was the most obvious of obvious decisions after last year. The team was bad for the second year in a row and he had to fire both coordinators. They knew they were going to take a QB #1 so bringing in a new head coach (preferably one with a good offensive mind) was unbelievably obvious. Poles not recognizing that means he is a dumbass too and should go as well after this season.
  10. Retaining Eberflus and hiring Waldron were obviously bad decisions and now we are wasting a year. Great job Poles
  11. Using bWAR for pitchers when Shuster sucked but got lucky is kind of silly.
  12. Yeah, as bad as the Judge and Volpe errors were they are irrelevant if Cole hustles and covers first. Lack of effort is worse than a physical error in my book.
  13. And don't really generate jobs (and almost all the jobs they do generate are low wage and seasonal)?
  14. What a brutal effort by the Orioles offense
  15. Yep. Freaking Angels playing a career minor leaguer who has never even been good in the minors.
  16. To be fair, if Jack López wasn’t a colossal joke he would have given up zero runs through 5.
  17. Helps that this is legitimately a minor league roster the Angels are playing minus Ward, O’Hoppe and Neto (who is now hurt).
  18. Jack López decided the Sox weren’t going to break the record. Lost the Angels game 1 by not catching a routine pop up and this game would be 0-0 if he could field today.
  19. It really would. Their pitching staff is a total disaster and while they have a couple respectable position players the lineup is still trash and guys like López and Drury are even worse than the bums the Sox have been playing.
  20. The career minor leaguer that they decided was going to start the rest of this season for some reason lost then game 1 and is the reason the Sox scored all 4 runs this inning. Routine double play ball he turns into 1st and 2nd nobody out.
  21. This Angels team as currently constructed is as bad as any time I’ve seen. Holy crap
  22. Jack López has decided to take things into his own hands and make sure the White Sox sweep. That dude is a freaking joke.
  23. He’s still be terrible until he at least learns maybe even a tiny bit about baseball.
