5/13 Sox at Reds (5:40 pm)
Terrible decision but par for the course with Manfred.
-
5/8/25 White Sox @ Royals 1:10 PM CST
Given this roster it really isn’t surprising.

I wonder how much longer the Royals stick with Renfroe. That dude is absolutely horrible. Can’t hit at all and a disaster defensively. For a team trying to make the playoffs continuing to play a guy on pace to put up an all time terrible season who was a 0 win player last year and a negative WAR player 2 years ago is insane.

Luis Robert trade thread: La Pantera stays.
Why on Earth would the Dodgers trade Hope for Robert?

April 24 Gamethread Sox @ Twins 12:10
Chris Paddack is freaking terrible.

Super Official GT Sox @ Twins 6:40 B.Wilson/Festa
Wilson is awful as a starter. Just insane luck that the Twins don’t have like 5 runs already.

2025 MLB season...catch-all for non-Sox, non AL-Central
I think their offense comes back down to earth but will still be good all year. Their pitching legitimately sucks though. What an incredibly stupid move by the Yankees bailing them out on Bellinger.

Clevinger: Still in Charlotte
There is zero upside. Clevinger sucks. This is an absolutely pathetic organization.

Gamethread?
They didn’t even overrate him. It was clear last year they didn’t think highly of him anymore and his batted ball data was absolutely awful. Hated the return then and I hate it even more now.

Offense is just trash
Basically 3 games carrying all the water for this offense (and 3 of their 4 wins) and they have been absolutely atrocious in basically every other game.

Luis Robert trade thread: La Pantera stays.
With how Robert looked last year and has looked so far this year a team would be nuts to give up anything more than a lottery ticket for him.

4/15 Sox vs. A's 6:40PM CT
Garbage human. Garbage baseball player that only this garbage organization continues to pay huge money too.

4/15 Sox vs. A's 6:40PM CT
You should probably hang them up if you give up a double to Vargas and a home run to Vaughn in the same inning.

4/11 game thread vs Boston 6:40 first pitch
Sean Newcomb is absolutely atrocious. Insane the Red Sox came into the year with him in the rotation.

Fine, I’ll do it (Game Thread 4/10)
I believe the Mets hold the record at 231 losses over 2 seasons. They followed their 120 loss season with 111. So that’s the target number.

Fine, I’ll do it (Game Thread 4/10)
This team is absolutely hot garbage but I’d be surprised if they shatter it. It’s really fucking hard to lose 121+ games.

Fine, I’ll do it (Game Thread 4/10)
Struck out without seeing a pitch close to the plate. Javier Baez level at bat there

Fine, I’ll do it (Game Thread 4/10)
The back half of the Guardians lineup is White Sox level bad.

4/9 Sox @ Guardians 5:10PM CT
Horrible scouting and he obviously wasn’t good. Amazing some of these guys are paid to do this.

White Sox asking for "top prospects" for Robert
If I'm the Dodgers with as much talent and depth as they have I'd much rather give the internal options a chance than bring in a guy who has been hurt constantly and that will cost them a lot of money when you factor in luxury tax penalties.

It is also comical to make this push based on a 2 game sample size, especially one where it isn't even like the offense set the world on fire. It is just jarring seeing competence after whatever the hell Waldron was doing.

24-25 NFL Thread
I'm quite confident at this point that any of the other rookie QBs would be total disasters in this scheme and with this oline. The number of plays where the QB just has zero chance on film is stunning. And now Williams is playing hesitant bad football on top of it (and I think he has been hammered over the head with being conservative which is why even on the few occasions someone is actually open the ball is slow to come out).

Firing Flus was the most obvious of obvious decisions after last year. The team was bad for the second year in a row and he had to fire both coordinators. They knew they were going to take a QB #1 so bringing in a new head coach (preferably one with a good offensive mind) was unbelievably obvious. Poles not recognizing that means he is a dumbass too and should go as well after this season.

Retaining Eberflus and hiring Waldron were obviously bad decisions and now we are wasting a year. Great job Poles

Revisiting the Bummer Trade
Using bWAR for pitchers when Shuster sucked but got lucky is kind of silly.
