I think you're wrong. Jake is a much better athlete than people believe because of his build. He is actually a little faster than the average MLB player,
with soft hands and a good arm. There is no rule that says a second baseman has to look a certain way.
Jake is the best option we have in house. Going outside will cost something in return. With a thin minor league system, staying in house
is probably the thing to do. The only way to find out if he's ready for a full time job,is to give him one.
Gotta agree. This might be the most depressed I've ever been as a Sox fan. Only the ouster of TLR can save this season. Only
new ownership and a new front office can turn this around long term.

We're wasting some prime years with a stupid old goat at manager. We have an unbalanced roster that hurts us every game with
poor defense and a slew of players who refuse to walk. No lefties worth having on the team, pitching and position players. What a mess.
