Jake is the best option we have in house. Going outside will cost something in return. With a thin minor league system, staying in house
is probably the thing to do. The only way to find out if he's ready for a full time job,is to give him one.
Gotta agree. This might be the most depressed I've ever been as a Sox fan. Only the ouster of TLR can save this season. Only
new ownership and a new front office can turn this around long term.
I know JDorf controls enough votes to do what ever he feels like. Does he ever have to face a vote of confidence from his proxies?
We're wasting some prime years with a stupid old goat at manager. We have an unbalanced roster that hurts us every game with
poor defense and a slew of players who refuse to walk. No lefties worth having on the team, pitching and position players. What a mess.
Although the Sox stink on offence any way you look at it. Why does Larussa insist on benching any player who has a decent game?
Moncada riding the pines after Saturday nights homer is just the latest example. TLR has probably lowered our runs output 10%
all by himself by doing this. And every time he sits a hot bat, he always replaces him with Nate Harrison.
God I miss Jim Fregosi.
Must admit I couldn't care less if he returns quickly. It seems like he's going the wrong direction overall. Almost always swings at the first pitch
with lots of soft ground balls. Last third of his rookie year and the short 2020 season he looked like a beast in training. Not any more.
Maybe they might try piggybacking with Dallas for a few starts.
Start one guy and then bring in the other to flip the other teams
line up. The lefty righty thing might help both of them a little.
