Batting Order
kind of a shame. he might knock in 100 hitting 5th. would probably lead the league in GIDP,s too. have always been puzzled why he starts so slow out of the batters box. maybe the slowest in the league. after 5-6 years you'd think he would improve a little.

2023 AL Central Predictions
I'd feel better about your picks if the Sox would acquire 1 more league average starter. No team stays healthy all season.

As a well known Burger booster, I'd love to see him get 500 at bats. And I don't care who has to sit to achieve this.

Leury not on OD Roster per DVS
To me, the money is already wasted. Don't compound that mistake by keeping players just because of it. Take the best players and try to win.

Andrus to the Sox, expected to play 2B, 1 yr, $3 mil
just because he's useless at multiple positions doesn't make him useful.

Andrus to the Sox, expected to play 2B, 1 yr, $3 mil
I would be more okay with this move if it were coupled with Leury's release.

Andrus to the Sox, expected to play 2B, 1 yr, $3 mil
If EA gets over 200 at bats, it will be a bad year.

Last Comiskey Documentary...
Alvin Davis hit a homer on Saturday night of the last weekend to right field. about 30 feet away from my family and I. After the game , the cops on horse back surrounded the field so no one could charge the field

2023 MLB offseason signings and rumors thread
Shaw has done some good things in the minors. Looks like he might have had a shot at a 4th outfielder career if he'd gotten a break some where. The difference between him and some other guys is negligible.

Grifol on instituting new team culture, Robert tutoring Colas in FL
I think Colas can get injured all by himself. But maybe Robert can show him how to get dizzy.

Who is buying/renewing tix for 2023?

Nate Mondou? 2nd Baseman Lifetime Minor Leaguer.
unusual signing for us. Mondou has far too much discipline at the plate.

The White Sox over/under for 2023 wins is 83.5
sounds a little high to me. we'll run out of starting pitchers around June.

MLB PipeLine Top 100 Prospects New List
I'm as down on TA as any one can be. That said, some guys are tough enough to bounce back after being humbled by life. Every body screws the pooch from time to time. Maybe Tim will surprise us.

Mike Clevinger under investigation for domestic violence
If you take out his homers, mike schmidt's slugging % was .389. squarely between ken reitz and george mitterwald. I could do this all day. but i wont.
-
Mike Clevinger under investigation for domestic violence
If you take out his hot streaks, George Brett was a life time .249 hitter. squarely between Walter "no neck" williams and Gates Brown.
