It wasn’t even a good fight. No way anyone was injured by any of the “punches” thrown. Looked like most of the damage was done by the momentum of their own bodies and the ground. That in mind, I would be pissed if I was sitting with my five year old son in that proximity. I am not a prude and I know “fights” happen, but time and place, man. Unfortunately, these are people who probably never consider the time and place with any of their behavior.

Will they play tonight?

That’s exactly what happened. Scared me when I saw him hobbling and holding his “leg,” but the replay showed a foul ball bounced back up straight into his sack. Gave my 5yr old son a good laugh, at least.

1.9 WHIP through 25+ innings with the White Sox. Not sure how literally anyone else could be worse. Not only is he still rostered, he’s being relied on to protect leads late in the game. Not like this team didn’t desperately need a win. This was such a crucial game to potentially avoid sending them into a massive tailspin. Yes, I was still holding out hope they could right the ship a little.

He better be gone before that. There is almost no other outcome than him walking at least one batter. Basically just bringing him in for the sole purpose of putting runners on base. Tonight it was him also creating a high leverage situation to burn your closer. And by design apparently, according to Grifol post-game. He’s not even striking guys out. He is almost at 30 IP with the White Sox now. Why?????

This game really pissed me off. I am still pretty mad about it. Much worse than how I normally feel watching this regularly infuriating team over the last year.
