It sucks to have completely lost any last shred of hope that this organization will make the correct move in anything they do. Not hyperbole when I say this is the lowest point for me as a White Sox fan in 30+ years. There have been far worse teams/eras in terms of talent, but I’ve never felt this kind of hopelessness bordering on indifference.

Isn’t Big Frank supposedly the reason the Sox didn’t sign Barry Bonds as well? I thought it was pretty well known The Hurt was a big cry baby during the first half of his career. Can anyone remember the last time he did anything to help the team win? He hits the ball with zero authority and if he somehow manages to get on base, he is shockingly slow. Far from ideal with a team full of singles hitters. With that said, a lot of this might be due to on-going leg issues. Just start hitting a HR here and there, man.
